At the cave with Mason:

At first it was dark, and the feeling of consciousness coming back to my head had begun.

Later it was the sight of the cold, hard, and barley comfortably floor of the cave.

I soon realized this wasn't all a dream, as I've been hoping for, secretly. I later got up, stretching my arms, feeling that odd feeling of relief when you stretch.

I was now just sitting there, in the cave, near my gear, and near the burnt-out campfire. I now had to ask myself. What is my sorry ass gonna do today?

Thinking upon that made me feel quite unsure of my situation. It felt like those moments when you're in bed, and you keep flipping the pillow over and over again to feel the coolness of the other side of the pillow, until you finally just stop, and fall asleep. Well for me I finally "fell asleep" if you know what I mean. I picked up my pillow, or satchel if you recall, and headed off into the bamboo forest, to see if I could make my way back to that village I saw.

It was a fresh morning and I was now walking through the forest of bamboo, hopefully in the right direction. I thought about the encounter on the ledge of the cliff again. Hopefully, those 6 don't show up at that village, cause yikes, that would be pretty damn awkward. And scary for the matter, my, my, that tiger just scared the balls outta me, makes me shiver just thinking about it.

Anyways, my thoughts were soon disturbed by a plea for help in the distance. I quickly made my way towards the sound as my curiosity took over.

After a minute or two of searching, I reached the site of the noise. The area was a small dirt path, and there was a cart with some instruments, some jewelry, and... there was a leopard! Another big cat, yikes, hopefully, he or she is nicer than the other big cat I found, or are they all mean? Anyhoo, the leopard seemed to be getting mugged by a couple of crocs. I made my way over whilst brushing the fact that their still "animals" and yelled out.

"HEY! What's the big idea here!?"

The crocs were about my height, looked male, and wore what seemed to be like, red baggy shorts, an almost leather belt thingy with small spikes, and they all had spears. There were about 6 of them, and they turned over to me in an instant. They all seemed to widen their eyes upon laying them at me. I wonder if it was because of my alien appearance to them, or if it was just because I caught them in the middle of a crime? Who knows.

One of the crocs had a metal helmet with a spike on top, and it yelled back at me, "Hey who do you think you are guy!?"

I quickly retorted, "That's not important, what are you doing to that leopard?"

Then another, more goofy looking croc with a lazy eye spoke up, "Were muggin her."

And with that, the croc with the helmet facepalmed, threw its helmet to the floor, stomped its foot, and yelled out in frustration, "GAH! DARNIT GHARI. Now we gotta deal with that thing over there!"

Before any of them could speak again I pulled out my pistol and shot into the air and yelled, "Alright, nobody move!" This caused them to freeze into place, even the leopard.

Seeing their reactions gave me a quick lil boost in confidence and a mischievous smirk on my face. The croc with the helmet spoke again in a shaky voice, "wha- what the hell was that, did you just fir- ire lightning in the ai-r?

With that, I chuckled, this guy really just said I fired lightni-

Wait...

Is he an idiot, or do they not know what a gun is...
