"Okay, Cinder, I'm heading out! I'm meeting Ruby and the others for a celebratory dinner." Weiss said as she checked her watch. "Crap, it's already 7! I'm supposed to meet Ruby in 15 minutes." She took out her phone and sent a text to Ruby.

W: Hey, I'm on my way to Carmine's!

R: Okay, same! See you in a few!

Weiss got into her car and drove to Carmine's. She smiled at the thought of seeing Ruby again, her perfect black hair with red tips and her silver eyes. "Oh, hey, there's the restaurant," she thought to herself. She sent another text to Ruby to let her know she had arrived.

W: Hey, I'm on my way! R: Okay, same! See you in a few!

Weiss pulled into the parking lot of Carmine's and parked her car. She received a text from Ruby, saying that she had seen her pull up and would meet her outside in a second. Weiss got out of the car and walked towards the entrance. Ruby was already there, waiting for her.

"Hey, Ruby!" Weiss said, waving to her. "Oh, hey, Weiss, I thought you'd be on the other side. I have our table reserved already," Ruby replied, waving for Weiss to follow her.

As Weiss walked towards Ruby, she tripped over the curb and fell into Ruby. In the process, they ended up kissing. The pair stopped and turned red, realizing what had just happened.

"Well, we made great timing, eh, Blake?" Yang said, smiling. "Yang, you could have let them have their moment," Blake responded, trying to hide her smile. Ruby stepped back, flustered. "Who's ready for some food? The table is already reserved for us," she said, trying to change the subject.

The four of them went inside and sat at the table. A waitress named Ilia greeted them and handed each of them a menu. "Hi, welcome to Carmine's. I'm Ilia, and I'll be your waitress for the evening. What can I get started for you all to drink tonight?" Yang started off with her drink order, followed by Blake and Weiss. Ruby told the waitress to surprise her, since it had been a good day.

"So, sis, what's the big surprise? I've been going crazy trying to figure it out," Ruby said excitedly. "Okay, okay, Ruby, chill, I'll tell you," Yang said, laughing with Blake. "Well, you girls know that we're getting married here soon, right?" Blake asked. The girls nodded. "We have chosen who we want to be our best man and maid of honor," she continued.

"Oh, may I ask who you guys have chosen?" Weiss asked. "I wanted Ruby to be my best man because she's my little sister," Yang said, grinning. "And for my maid of honor, can I have a drumroll, Yang?" Blake asked. Yang made a drumming beat on the table. "It's you, Weiss!" Blake said, making Weiss turn pale. "May I ask why me?" she asked.

"Well, my parents are against me and Yang getting married, and I know you need a break after your tour. I thought this would be the perfect release for you," Ruby said, smiling and hugging Weiss. "This is awesome, Weiss. You get to be a part of our family history!" Ruby exclaimed.

However, Weiss declines. "I appreciate the offer you two, but i have to respectfully decline."

The girls bows her head. "I had a feeling that you would decline, but the invitation is still open for you to come and join us." Blake said sincerely.

The waitress places the drinks in front of the group, and Yang greets Weiss warmly. "We'd love for you to join us, Weiss," Yang says. "I'll definitely keep that in mind," Weiss replies, taking out her phone. "What date is the wedding?" Yang pulls out the invitation with Weiss' name written in cursive by Ruby and hands it to her. "I did the cursive writing on the front of the envelope," Ruby interjects, proud of her work. "I'm sure Ruby wouldn't mind seeing you on the day. She's been talking about you coming to dinner with us for ages," Yang says with a laugh, causing Ruby to blush. "Yang! Why did you have to tell her that?" Ruby protests, turning her head away. "This day is about you two, not me." The waitress serves the group's food, and Weiss smiles. "It's fine, Ruby. I enjoyed our little conversation earlier. Let's make a toast," she says, raising her glass. The group lifts their drinks. "To Ruby's victory today, and to the happy couple. I'm so happy to be here with you all." They clink glasses and shout in unison, "Cheers!"
