Weiss and Ruby walked up to Cafe Le Blanc where they were greeted by a waitress. "How would the couple be seated today?" the waitress asked, to which Ruby and Weiss looked at each other and blushed slightly. "We'll take the patio please. It's a beautiful day outside," Weiss said.

"Blake?" Ruby asked the waitress. "Oh hey Ruby! I didn't recognize you at first. Wow! You're finally on a date with someone! Does Yang know?" Blake asked excitedly. "Yang only knows that Weiss wanted to watch us practice," Ruby responded. "This doesn't look like practice," Blake commented with a mischievous smile.

"Excuse me, but Ruby, are you going to introduce us?" Weiss interjected. "Oh, I'm sorry about that Weiss. Weiss, this is Blake Belladonna. She's my sister Yang's fiancé. Blake, this is Weiss Schnee, I'm sure you know her already. I'm a big fan of her music," Ruby said, blushing a deep shade of red.

"Well, I'm flattered, Ruby," Weiss said with a giggle. "But let's order before we take up any more time. I'll have a cafe mocha blanc, and Ruby will have a rosé cocoa," Weiss said to Blake.

"Have fun on your date, Ruby," Blake teased as she took down their order. Ruby and Weiss both blushed at the suggestion. "Hey Weiss, would you call this a date?" Ruby asked the singer. "Not really, but I'm happy we're alone now. We can actually talk to each other," Weiss said with a smile.

Ruby's eyes lit up like stars. "So, Weiss, a few days after my game, I'll take you on a real date. Just the two of us," Ruby said with excitement. Suddenly, a tray hit the ground and cups shattered, causing Weiss and Blake to jump. "Blake, are you okay?" Ruby asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I just heard you ask out Weiss, and it caught me by surprise," Blake replied with a smile. "Oh my gosh, wait until Yang finds out about this. She'll be so happy for you, Ruby!" Blake exclaimed.

"No, please don't tell Yang. I'll never hear the end of it from her. Promise me you won't tell her," Ruby begged. "Of course, I respect your decision. I won't tell her anything," Blake promised. "I'll pay for your 'date' today since I dropped your drinks," she added.

"Are you sure, Blake? I don't mind paying," Weiss said politely. "Please call me Blake, and I have it covered," Blake pleaded. "Okay, but I'm paying next time," Weiss said firmly.

Ruby was staring at Weiss, who noticed and asked, "What is it? Something I said?" Ruby was caught off guard but quickly responded, "No, you're all good. Perfect, even! I mean, oh, I spoke without thinking again," Ruby said, feeling embarrassed.

"You're all good, Ruby. In fact, I'm flattered you called me perfect," Weiss said with a smile. "So, Weiss, how about that date in a few days?" Ruby asked before realizing something. "Oh, wait, your concert is in two days. You'll be leaving for your next tour destination. You're only here for a few days," Ruby said, standing up to leave.

"Ruby, wait!" Weiss called out. "I want you to come as a roadie for the rest of my tour. Would you be okay with that? I mean itd make for great publicity between us." Weiss says hoping for Ruby to come with her.

"Weiss. Is that what you think of me? Just for a publicity stunt?" Ruby's silver eyes turn cloudy with tears starting to flow. "I was a huge fan of yours but that just lost it for me Weiss. I cant even look at you now." Ruby speeds off crying. "Okay ladies here are your drinks." Blake says while setting down their drinks to find a missing Ruby. "Wheres Ruby? I didnt see her walk past me." Weiss puts her face in her hands. "Blake, she said she was. She was a fan of mine. Did i tell her wrong?" Blake looked at weiss questionably. "Well what happened?" Asked Blake.

"Well I asked her to be a roadie with me and thatd itd make good publicity, and she stormed off crying." Weiss said. "Im sure shell come back around Weiss. Im not gonna tell you more about Ruby, but Weiss let me give you two pieces of advice." Blake's face turned serious.

"The first piece of advice is go after Ruby and talk to her and dont use her as a publicity stunt." Weiss nodded in agreement. "The second piece of advice is Dont let Yang get a hold of you till she calms down. Shes really protective of her baby sis." Blake said.

"Alright! Ill go after her, thanks Blake."

"Ruby!  Ruby! Ruby where are you?" Weiss calls out as she runs through the streets, searching for the girl she has fallen for. She remembers the hurt look in Ruby's silver eyes as she ran off, and Weiss knows she must make things right. She turns down a quiet alleyway and sees Ruby sitting on a bench, crying.

"Ruby, I'm so sorry," Weiss says, approaching the bench cautiously. "I never meant to hurt you. I just got carried away with the idea of having you on my tour as my roadie, and I made a mistake."

Ruby wipes her tears and looks up at Weiss, her eyes still clouded with emotion. "Why did you ask me, Weiss? Was it just for publicity?"

"No, Ruby," Weiss says, shaking her head. "I've been a fan of yours for a long time. I would always look for you in the crowd at my concerts, just to see your face. I fell for you without even realizing it."

Ruby's eyes widen in surprise, and Weiss can see the hurt start to fade away. "Really?" Ruby asks.

"Really," Weiss says, taking a step closer. "I know I messed up by making it seem like it was just for publicity, but I promise, that's not why I asked you. I just wanted to be close to you."

"That's not how you ask someone to get to know them better." Ruby said.

Weiss looks Ruby in her eyes. "Ruby, I'm sorry that I put it that way. I want you to know I am interested in you and would like to get to know you better." Ruby stands up and turns her back to Weiss. "I- I just need some time to myself right now." Ruby says walking away.

Weiss puts her face in her hands and starts to weep. She pulls out her phone and calls Cinder to come pick her up.
