"Jong Suk-sshi."
He smiles. A smile I never knew I missed until now.
"He was hanging out here while we were preparing for your surprise." Dong Won-oppa says. "We invited him since you two worked together."
"I see."
I look at him and for a moment, I wonder if I'm seeing something in his eyes.
Aniyo. Don't be fooled again.
"... that he also owns this cafe?"
I shake off my thoughts and focus on Dong Won-oppa. "Huh?"
"I said, do you know that Jong Suk-sshi owns this cafe?"
From behind him, I see the worry in Min-unnie's eyes.
I smile, letting my acting chops salvage me just this once.
"Gomawo, Jong Suk-sshi." I tell the man who has been invading my thoughts lately. "For letting us hold my party here."
He smiles, a tender smile I'm so familiar with.
"If it's for noona..."
He smiles once more, this time it's clear.
There's sadness in his eyes.
I didn't think he'll stay long.
He sat with Kiyoung-oppa and Shi Eon-oppa. He spoke freely with my friends, even those he met for the first time.
Seeing him now, I can't believe how far he has gone from that man who mumbles idiotically.
He manned up, became more mature. Looked even more dependable.
I guess the army shaped him good.
Or maybe it's because of her.
"Unnie, look at this." Chun Woo Hee excitedly calls out from the corner. "Come, quick!"
I walk over to where she is, only to come face to face with a familiar sight.
Familiar words stare right back at me."Unnie, you always like this kind of art, right?" Woo Hee beams.
How can I not?
"That's a special one."
He suddenly spoke behind me.
"Oh?" Woo Hee's eyes suddenly pop. "I also saw a tumbler with that art."
