When he realised what had happened, he took a threatening step towards me and I retreated. I admit I was downright petrified, but I would have done it again. I wouldn't let anyone insult me like that.

Suddenly, a tall figure stepped in between us. I looked up to find a mass of platinum blond. Sam. Thank God!

"And who are you?" Charles spat.

"I'm Sam Johnson. Please step away." He said. I love my bestfriend. I mentally thank Jesus for giving me Sam.

"Why would I step away from MY fiancé?" He smirked. I don't hate people but I'm sure I can make an exception for this handsome rude man. Sam stepped out and turned towards me with a mystified expression.

"There has to be a misunderstanding." I defended. "And why are you here anyway? To insult me?" I bellowed.

"No, my mother forced me to pick up "my fiancé" from her college." He raised his fingers to gesture air quotes.

"Mr. Windsor, you can leave, I will take her home." Sam said when he saw my brawled fist. Thankfully, he's not a person who indulges in violence, that's my brother.

"I'm perfectly capable of dropping my fiancé." Charles kept glaring at both of us. What is his problem? We gave him a way out and he still didn't leave. Maybe he wanted to kill me but Sam got in between. Oh dear lord!

"You need to stop calling me that and Sam can drop me. I'm sure this is all a misunderstanding. Sam, can you wait for me in your car? I'll sort this out and come join you." He nodded hesitantly and left.

I had no desire to speak to Charles so I dialled my father's number without a word. Charles waited with an agitated look on his face.

"Elena? I'm busy..."

"Father, why is Charles Windsor at my college and saying that we agreed to their marriage proposal?"

"Darling, we will talk about..."

"No, there's nothing to talk about. I unmistakably remember telling you that I do not want to marry that foul rude imbecile." I almost yelled. Charles gave a humourless snicker and glared daggers at me while my father gave a dramatic gasp.

"Elena he might hear you."

"Oh he heard me alright!"

"You are going to get punished for your rude behaviour little lady. You be polite to him and we discuss this when you are home. THAT is an order and is not up for discussion." He thundered.

"But..." He hung up on me. I saw Charles smirking at me.

"Looks like we are getting married, honey." He teased.
