Hanahaki disease.
A sickness where one coughs up flower petals due to unrequited love. Hong Jisoo never would've thought he'd get such disease, nor the fact did it existed. He loves a certain angel-like boy named Yoon Jeonghan. To keep things short, Jeonghan loved Seungcheol instead, which tugged his heartstrings.
Oh boy did Jisoo spend his nights coughing up beautiful flowers.
It's painful of course, just like any other physical disease out there. It gives him several stomach aches throughout the day, however, it was his heart that hurt the most.
And so, he started to write instead. The boy liked poetry, so he immersed his feelings through writing and the coughing would stop temporarily. Whenever he encountered Jeonghan, he'd write it on his cutesy journal as well, enlisting all the memories he had with him.
He'd write every day, page by page, so he could keep his feelings at bay.
Not until he decided to confess. That was a memorable day for Jisoo, he couldn't forget the words he said.
"Yoon Jeonghan, you bloom flowers in the deepest and saddest corners of my fragile heart!"
And that's when fate decided to pull the red strings. That's the day where the angel-like man bloomed healing flowers in Jisoo's heart.
