"alex just texted me asking if I'm alright because i literally never phone people" George said into his phone
"you really don't, he seems to really care about you" said a woman on the end of the other phone
"i guess" he sighed
"whats up now?" she asked
"well... you know how alex is bi, yeah?" he started

"i am too"
"really?"
"yeah" he said "sorry if i made it weird" after a couple moments of silence
"you didn't make it weird george, I'll exept you. is that whats bothering you?"
"not all of it"
"well fucking tell me then" she laughed
"i- I'm uh in love with Alex" George said after steadying his breathing

"i dont know either"
"really?" she asked sounding shocked
"yeah. have been for a while" he chuckled
"i uh don't know what to say george"
"sorry, i don't usually talk about this with people exept will" george said
"stop apologising. its fine" she started "im your sister George you can talk to me about everything and anything I'm always here to listen and try to help." she said

"i mean he says he feels the same way and shows he does but its scary to ask your best friend out because if he falls out of love with me then it'll be really awkward and we probably won't be able to live together anymore"

"your thinking about this too much. even i know alex wouldn't do that to you, and even if you got together then some things bad happened hed never throw away your friendship. that man loves you bro. go get your mans AND STOP WORRYING OKAY" she said laughing at the end
"okay okay, well I've got to go now anyway so" george said
"sending my love to both if you, tell alex i said hi and that i send love" she said

george ended the call and ran his hands through his hair
"fuck" he said outloud walking to his wardrobe. he picked out a hoodie that he hadn't seen before so he assumed it was Alex's but he didn't care. he threw it on along with a pair of grey joggers and left the flat.
