Logan was there for the first half and when he got thrown out of the box by a Shepard's cane, Deciet had the same cane when Patton was all Froggers.

In addition, Janus' having a Shepard's cane is symbolism for him leading Thomas to safety. Shepard's always want their sheep to stay safe and will go out of there way to save them no matter what.

Also, you know how all the side represent more than just their titles? Well Janus' is more than just lies.

He also informs Thomas of when someone is lying and is constantly trying to be honest with him to protect him, just like a shepard does his sheep.

Janus isn't just the opossite of morality he's his own person.
