3rd Person:
Years have passed now and the royal family couldn't have been better. Arthur and Merlin were as always bickering with each other but then back to attacking each other's lips the other second. Nothing much had happened through the years except that Cora and Luke were more stronger now and were soon to be wed in a day. Others were as good as everyone else. Lancelot and Gwen had another son and Morgana and William had two beautiful daughters. Everyone was happy and living their lives to the fullest with their younger versions running around the castle causing havoc like they once didCurrently, the castle was bursting with servants rushing from here to there preparing for their crown princess's wedding. Yup, Luke had just proposed to Cora a month ago after asking Merlin and Arthur though the young lad had gotten a full three-hour lecture from them. But observing them for years now, the two kings new that there was no one better for their daughter. Just like her Aunt, Cora was pacing around her chambers pointing out the things which could go wrong during the wedding
"I will personally punch and knock you out," Emma told her as she fixed her own hair
"Dad will knock you out in return." Cora crossed her arms
"Hearing you babble right now, she would be doing him a favour," Morgana said as she forcibly made her sit on the chair "Now sit still."
"Ow," Cora exclaimed bringing her hand to her hair
"Seriously Cora, I haven't even done anything yet," Morgana sighed "You have to calm down."
To Morgana's luck, Cora had sat almost still for an hour as Morgana did her hair and Emma did her make up. For her hair, she had simply made a beautiful braid on the side. There was a knock on the door as Morgana went to open it was Sylvia with the dress
"Come on Cora," Sylvia gave her dress "It's time."
Cora breathed in and out as she took the dress from her and went behind the screen to change with Emma for help. There was another knock and this time it was Merlin
"Hey, everyone is waiting downstairs," Merlin said "Is she ready?"
"Yeah, just give us a second," Morgana answered him and closed the door
"Come out Cora." Sylvia sighed and suddenly squealed when she saw her "Oh my god, she looks so beautiful."
"I know right." Emma smiled with Morgana
"Here her veil," Sylvia said as she brought it
They arranged the veil which was attached to a beautiful crown on her head. Merlin knocked on the door again and came in once told by his youngest daughter
"Father, doesn't she look beautiful?" Emma smiled
"Without a doubt," Merlin said as he kissed Cora's forehead
"We will give you two a minute," Sylvia said as she and others got out of the room dragging Emma with her who was too eager to listen
Merlin sighed as he took a seat on the armchair beside his daughter smiling at all the memories rushing through his mind
"You were around three when Alaric and I had saved you from the burned camp and he brought you to his camp. I still remember how you wouldn't stop crying and wouldn't eat anything. Me or Alaric were the only ones you would be around, you weren't comfortable with anyone else. Finally, two days after, you started to show some sign of acceptance, you started eating, no more nightmares but I had to come back to Camelot, being away for too long would surely cause Arthur to take my head," Merlin chuckled staring into nothingness "But that day I had vowed to care of you, to protect you. And whenever I came back I would bring a sort of gift for you, sometimes a dress or a necklace."
