"Move and I'll shoot," you felt his gun press harder against the underside of your chin as he screamed at everyone, forcing your head higher up.
This wasn't supposed to happen. You, Haru, and three other First Division members were sent to stop a bank robbery that turned violent, resulting in the robber knocking out the security and holding hostages. When you all arrived at the scene, the robber instantly took a kid hostage to threaten you all. Without thinking, you took a step towards the man and asked him to let the child go. Although it took a while, everyone was impressed with how you deescalated the situation. The robber removed his gun from the child and you carefully stepped closer to him, making small movements for the child to move away. As the girl ran to, who you assume is, her mother, you were harshly pulled to the robber.
And that brings you to where you are now, standing as the hostage and he wasn't letting go. No one else could help you since they didn't want to be the reason why you died. You could see the fear in your boyfriend's eyes as he debated what to do, undoubtedly worried for you. You all stood still, the robber now looking around and realizing he was outnumbered. Due to this, his grip on your arm became harder and his wrist started shaking as he held the gun to your chin. Taking that as an opportunity, you quickly grabbed his wrist and pushed the gun away from your chin and towards the wall. You nearly got shot as he pulled the trigger once he felt you move, the close proximity causing ringing in your ears as the bullet shattered a window. You quickly turned to face the man, seeing him aim his gun at the crowd.
The situation was escalating and you all knew this can't be solved as peacefully as you wished. Knowing this, Haru got ready to shoot the man. Of course, he would never wish to hurt someone, but he needed to render the robber immobile. He quickly brought up his gun and aimed at the man's arm, trying to ensure he wouldn't be able to use his gun but he would still be alive. Right as he shot, the man pulled you in front of him, making the bullet pierce your right arm. Blood splattered on your suit and face as your body jolted from the gunshot.
"L/n," you hear Hoshino shout, worried, as you winced.
"Y-Y/n, I...," Haru's voice trailed off.
"Worry about me later," your voice strained as you forced yourself to fight.
You were sure it hit one of your arteries with how much it was bleeding and you were already starting to feel the effects. However, you pushed through it and sent a punch towards the man as the rest of your squad started running to help, no longer having to worry about you getting shot. As the man brought a hand to his now bloody nose, you quickly unarmed him and placed the gun on the ground.
