Katsuki's POV:

I trail (y/n) and her villains as she beckons us up the stairs, wondering how in all of hell she managed to hide this from us. I slide a knife from the couch as we pass it, tucking it into the waistband of my shorts.

"You know how to use that?" (Y/n) slips beside me and I jump, looking quickly at Willow and Sam, but they are still ahead, talking to each other in hushed tones. "If you don't, I'd advise putting it down, or at least not letting Willow know you have it." I nod, placing the blade of the knife into her outstretched hand and following her into her bedroom.

"Why are we here." The way Sam asks it makes the question sound not exactly like a question.

"You should know better than to question your princess." Power-play. "But seeing as you trusted me enough to come up here, I'll tell you." She pulls a polished bronze and gold linked chain from a hidden draw in her bedside table, "you know what this is?" (Y/n) dangles the chain in front of Willow's face, and the girl slips a pendant from her pocket. "Oh my." (y/n) makes a grab for the pendant, only to have Willow yank it out of her reach, smirking slightly. "Give it to me." Willow does no such thing. "That is an order." Snarling, Willow hands it to the girl.

"Uh, what the hell is that?" I stalk to stand next to (y/n), who is desperately trying to slip the pendant onto the chain with shaking hands. I tug it gently from her grip and put it on easily, handing it back to her.

"It's the last of it's kind. These necklaces, they can detect lies, but  if you wear it for too long..." She trails off as the necklace clasp clicks into place, I stare expecting some kind of light or something fancy to burst from it, but it stays dull and lifeless, like an ordinary necklace. Well, that was slightly disappointing.

Kirishima's POV:

Where are they? The food is going to be ready in... I pull out my phone, in 5 minutes... I watch as (y/n) runs down the stairs, taking them 2 at a time, wings unfurling from her back, feathers ruffling in the wind as she jumps the last 5, landing with bent knees and splayed wings. "Ok, who wants to come?" I step forward, and she nods her head, grabbing my arm and pulling me out the front door.

"So, how-" I'm cut off as she transforms, now a large what looks like a hippogriff from Harry Potter, just big enough for me to ride, stands in front of me, head cocked as if to say come on, hurry up. I climb on, digging my hands into soft, brown feathers, and gasping,   heart and stomach doing somersaults as she flaps upwards, speeding across the sky. Please don't dive, please don't dive. She dives, though not as vertical as I expect, spiralling towards the ground.

"Wow, that was a lot easier than I thought." (Y/n) pulls a pale blue purse from her jeans. When the hell did she put those on? And walks inside, a baby feather sticking from her hair. I watch as she pulls a black credit card from the leather, tapping something out of view, thanking the cashier and grabbing a brown paper bag from the counter. "Let's go, eagle or dragon?"

"Dragon, please." (Y/n) nods, and I watch, getting queasy as she shifts into a pale gold-and-(f/c) dragon the size of a 7-seater. Dragon-(y/n) extends a wing,  and I scramble up it, gripping her neck hard with my knees, scales digging into my thighs and hands tight enough that I could snap her horns if I tried. The flight is easier, much less bumpy and scary, but diving still gives me a rush of adrenaline and makes my stomach do flips.

"Food!" Bakugo runs up to us, snatching the bag from my hands, regarding it with childish excitement.

"Yeesh, Katsu." (Y/n) struggles to pull the bag back from him, "calm down." Winning, she strides towards the fort the class made of her living room while we were gone, a small smile creeping onto her lips as she slips inside. Bakugo and I follow. "Holy fuck, this is amazing..." I echo her amazement, taking in the fairy-lights and brightly coloured cushions and blankets, "Momo, did you make these? Or did someone raid my supplies?"
