Your POV:
I wake up to a gentle tap on my head, and before I can react a black blanket is thrown over me. I try in vain to get out, ripping and slicing at it with more feralness then is probably needed. When I'm done, and the blanket is lying in shreds around me, I look around. Whoops, woke everyone up there, didn't ya? Well done, I think. I shake my head, disappointed in myself. "Well, that was exciting." I growl at the source of the voice, crouching, ready to spring at any danger. "Jesus, (y/n), it's me..." I realise my mistake as Katsu crouches in front of me, hand slack and reaching for me. I press my head into it, before padding over to where Momo and Shoto are still asleep, curled up next to each other. I shift back into human form, grumbling at the sudden cold.
"Ok, I'm gonna go turn the heater on, and no one disturbs them," I say, pointing at the two curled on the ground, watching their chests rise with the rhythm of deep sleep. "Be back in a minute." I walk out, turning the heater on to full blast. God, it's meant to be fucking summer, not the middle of goddamn winter. I sigh, lifting the blanket covering the entrance and watching as Momo and Todoroki finally wake up. Both blush hard, the latter's right side bursting into flame. I watch defeatedly as Sam yelps and shoots a jet of water at him, and laugh as it splashes both of them, covering them in cold. "Poor little babies," I laugh as I light a fire, letting it spread over them, careful not to let it touch their skin, lest I want to roast them and watch as the water turns to steam, filling the tent and making the air heavy and humid.
"Well, after that exciting performance, how about we get some breakfast." I chuckle as Katsu comes and sits next to me, across from Midoriya.
"So, how'd your little challenge go?" I smirk, watching as Midoriya and Katsu regard each other.
"Good, he didn't tell me to go take a swan dive off the roof or call me any of the names you said he couldn't." Midoriya frowns at what must be a bad memory, and I squint at Katsu.
"You ever told him to do that?"
"Yes, in middle school." I nod, taking in the information. "I don't regret it, he deserved it." Ok, the last part could've not been added. I slap him, abdominal and leg muscles cramping as I use them to hold myself up, and his head snaps to the side.
"You." I slap him again. "Little-" slap- "shit-" slap.
"Uh, (y/n)?" I turn, looking around the room for the source of the voice, "for someone who's killed and tortured over 5 hundred people, don't you think that someone telling another to go kill themselves isn't that bad?" I find it, looking at Willow with a mixture of disgust and confusion.
"Killing people is one thing, but telling someone to go kill themselves is another." I smile gratefully at Sam, nodding. "You have to really really hate the person to go and tell them that, but if you're like us," he gestures at me, himself and Willow, "and you are forced to go kill people, that's a different story." I hug him, silently thanking him. We all developed a code as little kids, squeeze someone four times it means thank you/you're welcome. Three, help. Two, I need to be alone. One, stay/can I please stay. We used it every single day, comforting each other after we were sent out, and helping each other through nightmares.
"Ok, if y'all are done being sappy and weird, I'd like some breakfast." I glare at Katsu, putting in all my hatred and rage to make it as cold as possible.
"Ok, everyone, except Katsu, what do you want?" I pull a cushion towards me, hugging it tightly, trying to ignore the sudden pain just below my stomach. It finally gets the better of me as I go to stand up, making my left leg spasm and dropping me with a force that I didn't know could exist from such a small fall. My knees slam onto the carpet, letting out a hollow thud that jars every bone in my body. Willow and Momo run over to me, the latter clutching a hot water bottle. "Thank-" The pain gets so intense I cry out, curling in on myself even tighter, wishing with all my cold, shrivelled heart that it would go away. I feel a warmth spreading over me, looking up to see flames spread over my side like a dancing blanket.
