Why me?

Chapter 2

Okay so I arrive at the cafe that me and Britney found when we were around 13 years old. As soon as me and Britney walk in I see a familiar person with a girl but I just ignore it. As the waiter gets our usual we start to chat. "Hey Lex doesn't that boy over there look oddly familiar?" As she look towards the two people. "Yea he does but whatever."

A couple minutes later our coffees came. "Hey I'm just gonna go to the bathroom." As I walk over I see the two people kiss. I get closer and realized its Jeremy, and he's kissing someone! I just stand their shocked. When they finish kissing Jeremy notices me.

" I can't fucking believe you, I gave you all my love for this past year! And I came here and see you kissing a slut! I wish you have a good day in Hell!" After all that I slap him across the face and run out to the streets. All I hear is." Lexi watch out!" After that I black out.

***In the Hospital***

I wake up and just see white walls. With that I see wires going into my arm.I look around and see my sister, mom, and Britney all crying on the chairs.

"M-mom?" As I say in a weak voice. " Oh my God honey your okay! I thought you weren't going to wake up!" As she stood up and hugged me.

"Wha-what happened?" As I lean my onto the bed. "Lex as you were running when you saw Jeremy, you ran into the street and got hit by a car." All I see in her eyes were a little happiness but still puffy red.

"How long was I here for?" As I sit back up and get comfortable. " You were here for 2 weeks after the incident." As Faith finally spoke. " The doctors said you can go home when ever you want." As she stood up. " Well can I go home now?" "Yes sweetie you can, let me get the doctor." Yes! I can leave this creepy place!

After signing the papers to get out of the creepy place, I went with Britney to go to her house. As we step in I hear a voice I know to well of. "Jay get your ass down here!" I scream to him on the bottom of the stairs.

"Lexi! Oh my god your okay!" He runs down the stairs almost tripping on his own feet. I laugh at what he does. "My,my,my Lexi are you laughin at me?!?!" "Uhhh....No?" Right after that he gives me a bear hug. Shivers go down my spine as this happens. Is this normal? Where did all this come from? I just ignore it and go on.

Your probably wondering who this is well this is my best friends twin. They don't look the same really. Britney has light brown wavy hair with green eyes. As for Jay he has dark brown hair with a quiff and dark blue eyes. Sometimes I wonder how they are related. Plus they have different interests and hobbies.

" Yes, yes I'm ok, why did you miss me?" I teased " Pshh what! I didn't miss you what are you talking about?" He said sluttering his words " Mmhmmm you sure bout that?" I laughed. " Yup, okay just a little bit..." He said blushing

Wait what! Jay's blushing! He never blushes as I mean never! He is a person that never blushes" Hello Lex!" As Britney waves her hand in my face. "Yea? What were you saying?" I said shyly." Ughh as I was saying wanna make some cookies?" She said "Oh yea sure!" I say when we walk into the kitchen

Lets just say we didn't make cookies. We basically had a food fight. After all the food was cleaned up we decided to watch movies. " Hey Britney, lets watch mean girls." This movie lets just say was one of my favorites. Okay not really but, its a pretty good movie.

" Okay let me go on netflix and put it on!" Half way through the movie we finished all the popcorn. I get up and go to the kitchen to get more. When I get there I see Jay their shirtless and in sweats getting something to munch on.

I look at him and see his 6 pack and I'm pretty sure I'm drooling. Don't get me wrong I saw him shirtless before but not with a 6 pack. " Like what you see? Take a picture might last longer!" My cheeks flush a light pink in embarrassment.

I get the popcorn and run back into the living room and watch the movie. Towards the end my eye lids get droopy. As soon the movie ends I feel being lifted up and put on a bed. "Good night beautiful." Jay said as he kissed my cheek and walked away. A couple moments later I fell back asleep.
