Chapter 3

I woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside the window. Did last night really happen? Did Jay call me beautiful? He probably just wanted me to feel better. How can he like me? I bet he just thinks of me as a sister or his sisters best friend.

I got out of bed and pushed those thoughts out of my head. I go to Britney's dresser and open up the drawer I use here when I sleep over. I get my clothes and go to take a shower.

After that I get my clothes on and head down stairs. I go to the cabinet and get a bowl and cereal. Once I get a bowl of cereal I see a grouchy Britney coming down the stairs.

"Well good morning to you too." As I say when she gets a bowl out. "Sorry just out of my mind this morning. I didn't get much sleep last night."

"Oh so one of those night huh?" She just nods her head and sits down at the island." So what should we do today?" she asks with a mouth full of cereal.

"First chew and swallow your food. Second why don't we go to the board walk?" I say more as a question.

"Yea we should go let me just get changed and we'll be ready to go." As she runs up the stairs. As she does that where is Jay? Right on cue he comes right down.

"Hey Lex, how you holding up?" As he takes cereal and a bowl out. "Surprisingly fine. Right now me and Brit are going to go to the board walk." After that its just plain silence.

"Lex you ready?" Thank god she came I don't think I could of gone any longer. "Yea lets go use my car!" We walk out the door and get into the car.

On the way there we sing mainly scream the songs on the radio. As we arrive we get get out of the car and start walking.

When we started walking these group of boys came up to us. They looked like they were in there early 20's. "Hey sexy what are you doing here all alone." He was obviously drunk.

"Wanna head to my place?" I literally wanted to barf right there. "Ew no, go away!" But he wouldn't go away. The same thing was happening to Brit. Right when I was trying to get away he grabbed my wrist.

"Hey let go!" "Come on have some fun sweetheart!" Right then he dragged me to the wall between the two stores and tried to kiss me.

"St-stop!" He then started to touch me im places that I fid not like at all. "Sweetie let loose, have fun." He started to take off my clothes practically undressing me.

Oh my god I was going to get raped. I screamed in terror but no one heard me. I was alone with this drunk dude and going to get raped.

Please help me. "Stop!" I whimpered in pain. he started to undo his pants. This is it I'm getting raped and no ones going to help me.

"Stop! Leave her alone!" Right then when I turned my head and saw...Jay! What the hell is he doing here! "And what if I don't?!?!" The drunk dude said. "Then I would call the cops right now and say that you were going to rape a girl thats still in high school!"

Right then the drunk dude stop what he was doing. Went over to Jay and punched him square in the face.

I was still in shock. I was still in my bathing suit with my strings undone. Jay held his hand to his face and then started to punch the drunk dude over and over again.

Right then the drunk dude had a bloody nose and bruises all over his face. "If you run away now and don't come back I wont call the cops!"

Right then he ran away and Jay ran right towards me. "Hey its ok Lex I'm right here. Everything's going to be alright."

That was the last thing I heard till I passed out.
