CARSON'S CRIME INVESTIGATION SERVICES

Chapter 16

"It was about the interrogation", began Kira. "He is very alarming".

Aubrielle and Estelle suddenly looked serious. This was the first time they had ever seen Kira's tough exterior crack.

"What did he say?", they asked, both of them staring at her intensely. "And where is Ivory?".

"She needed to leave the room and to be honest, I can't blame her", muttered Kira. "That man is insane and very scary and I'm worried the group he works for is ten times worse".

"Why?", asked Estelle, folding her arms, a look of worry on her face.

"I found out that the criminal ring are global but that the boss resides in New York", said Kira, 

"They also participate in some really dark activities...murder, kidnappings, sex trafficking, torture, theft...the list goes on".

"Ok, so at least we know where the ring leader lives, but New York is huge and full of criminals, so it's going to be hard to find the right group. Could you try and get the name of the group from him?".

"He won't give me that", sighed Kira, "It was hard enough getting everything else out of his disgusting mouth....but I'll try...".

"Thank you. Now, is there anything else?", asked Aubrielle.

"Ivory and Westley are in serious danger", said Kira in a grim tone, "He was going to smother my Brother in hospital last night and then make his way to Ivory's apartment to slaughter her".

"WHAT?!", gasped the twins in horror. "Why?!".

"His boss wanted them dead because they chased that scum bag down the street. That is literally the only reason why", growled Kira. "That's why I left early last night. I had to get the hospital security increased around my Brothers room. I can't allow some low life criminal to attack him when he is recovering from a serious wound. He'd never fight them off in his current state".

"I see", muttered Estelle. "We'll have him moved to private care with only the best doctors and security. That way you can rest knowing he is safe. As for Ivory, what did he say?".

Kira let out a deep exhale. "He knows everything about her and it only took him one night. He had already tried to kill her three times without her knowledge and has developed a sick obsession with her. He followed her home twice and he hacked in to her computer and has apparently took some very explicit images of her getting dressed in her room after taking a shower. He explained in disturbing detail how he planned to break in to her home, beat, rape, torture and kill her and then said he was planning to sell her internal organs to the market on the deep web".

"Oh my God....that's horrifying", whimpered the twins in unison.

"I will admit, I am very concerned for her safety and Westley's, especially if the boss of that criminal ring want them dead. I have a terrible feeling he won't stop until he gets what he wants", sighed Kira in worry, "He also said that in a few weeks this whole company and everyone in it would go down...which frightens me. It's clear this group is full of unhinged members that will do anything for a sick thrill, so we all need to watch our backs".

"Ok...we have a brother who runs the local police department in New York...we will work closely with him in order to ensure all of our staff are safe and maybe he can help us track down this group since they seem to primarily reside in that city. We will also have Westley temporarily suspended from work and under constant guard whilst he recovers and we will have Ivory under strict watch both on and off of the job too, but sadly that means she won't be able to go home or back to the hotel, since I assume he probably followed her for most of the time until we arrested him last night".

Estelle Sighed. "That also means he most likely saw the hotel you two were staying in, meaning he could have reported it to his boss and crew. For that reason, you two will have to go to a different location until we have tracked this group down and put them behind bars".

"But that could take months!", cried Kira, "We may never even find them!".

"Well in these current circumstances, I'm afraid we have no other choice. We cannot put your lives at risk knowing what we do now. It's clear this group won't stop until we take them down and we as a company, refuse to lose lives unnecessarily when it could be avoided".

Kira sighed. "But surely we only need to arrest the boss and the members of the group in this City. That will make it easier surely?".

"No. if we take them down, we will put them all behind bars, not just a handful", frowned Estelle. "I understand", muttered Kira, giving in to defeat.

"Good, now go and see if you can squeeze the name of the group out from that grotesque man's face and then take Ivory on a break. Make sure you're not being followed if you leave site".

"Ok", nodded the red head as she thanked her superiors and exited the room, walking down to the cells once more.
