When class was about to start, Lan Wangji was staring at the empty seat across from the room. Everyone except for Wei Wuxian was here now.
" A-Cheng, just tell me where A-Xian is." I told Jiang Wanyin who was fidgeting and complaining about Wei Wuxian to Jiang Yanli and me.
" Wei Wuxian? Who the hell knows where he's gone!" Jiang Wanyin said angrily.
" Ahem, everyone to their seats please!" Lan Qiren said, walking to the front with a scroll.
In the corner of my eye, I saw Wei Wuxian running into the classroom and sitting in his seat at lightning speed. I also saw Lan Wangji, who was sitting beside me, glaring at him for a couple of seconds before turning his attention back to Lan Qiren.
" So, I am going to read out the rules one by one, but only because none of you actually go read it. So you all better pay attention."

5 hours later, most of the students in the classroom were asleep.
" IS ANYONE LISTENING?!" Lan Qiren's scream knocked everyone out of their sleep. " CLASS DISMISSED!"
Everyone hurried out, and soon there were only me and Lan Wangji left in the room.
" Uncle, why are you keeping Wei Wuxian in the classroom?" Lan Wangji asked
" He is annoying, yes. But I have no excuse to kick him out. His grades are no worse then yours." Lan Qiren sighed.
" Mr. Lan, if you don't mind, I will take my leave." I said, since I had to prepare food for the sect banquet.
" Go ahead."
I left, smiling and shaking my head.

The next morning I finished preparing breakfast and was told today's lessons will be cancelled.
" Why?" I asked Sizheng
" It, it....would be best if you go to Ya-Shi to look for yourself." He said, walking away.
When I arrived I saw Wei Wuxian, Jiang Wanyin, Nie Huaisang and... Lan Wangji?! They were getting hit by rulers and moaning in pain. Only Lan Wangji was still as stiff as wood.
An hour later, the 300 hits by the rulers were finally done, and I supported Wei Wuxian to where Jiang Yanli was. Then I went to Jing-Shi to find Lan Wangji reading.
" Senior Brother?"
" Junior Sister. What brings you here?"
" Don't just stay here and read, you got hit. By the ruler!"
" I'll go to Cold Spring then, if tha makes you happy?"
" Just go. It's at least something for healing." I sighed
He then left, and I went to the medical ward to bring medicine for him and Wei Wuxian.
When I went to Wei Wuxian's room, I didn't see him there.
"Yanli-jie, have you seen A-Xian?"
"He went to the cold spring." Jiang Yanli said
"Okay thanks Shijie." I said as I took the two bottles of medicine to the cold spring. As a doctor I was the only woman who was allowed to go to cold spring or any of the disciple's rooms. I was even allowed to study with the boys. But when I arrived a t cold spring, neither of them were there.
"A-Xian? Senior brother?" I called, walking around the whole back mountain. I still couldn't find them even when I have walked all around Cloud Recesses and asked several disciples off they've seen Wei Wuxian or Lan Wangji.
I was in a panic as I ran to Han-Shi to report to sect leader Lan.
