" I knew that yesterday night, you don't have to tell me this," I said, thinking of last night when she was backing out the door, shocked with a disgusted look on her face. I have to make Jiang Wanyin stop his crush on her because his top priority right now was to study and be ready to become the next sect leader of the Jiang clan.
The next morning, I got the information that Wei Wuxian and Jin Zixuan got into big trouble, and was sent back to their own sects. I packed my things, and got ready to leave. I was in my carriage for about half a day when I saw my Senior brother. I left my carriage and went to Senior brother.
" Senior brother!!!" I yelled.
He turned around, smiled and nodded at me politly. I walked with him all the way to a lake, when a loquat flew past me. Lan Wangji, who was in front of me, caught it. We both turned around to see Wei Wuxian, runnning towards us. He started talking to Lan Wangji, and I realized I didn;t even know what my senior brother was out here for.
" Senior brother, what's the mission?" I asked
" Finding other pieces of the Stygian iron." he said.
" Aiya Lanzhan, I don't think she knows what the stygian iron is, explain further!!" Wei Wuxian told him.
" Explain yourself." Lan Wangji said, walking towards the boat.
We all got on, and Wei Wuxian started explaining what the stygian iron is to me. He talked a whole lot of nonsense, but in the end I got to know that the Stygian iron has 4 pieces and is like a puzzle, and it holds a lot of power. I thought back to what Wen Liqing told me.
"Qishan Wen clan found something. It is like a puzzle, with four pieces. One of the pieces, he heard could be found in Gusu. That's why he sent us here."
I realized that the Qishan Wen sect was after the stygian iron as well.
" Senior brother, A-Xian, do you know anyone who's after teh same thing?" I asked
" Qishan Wen sect." They said at teh same time.
So they knew. I hope Wen Liqing and Wen Qionglin don't get into trouble.
We arrived at shore, and Wei Wuxian was complaining about how fast Lan Wangji was walking, and him never being able to catch up with him, so he used a talisman he made himself and started annoying my senior brother.
At Tanzhou, we saw Nie Huaisang, who was on his way back to Qinghe. He wanted to come along, so we let him. Wei Wuxian started making up ghost stories for Nie Huaisang when we were walking.
" Senior brother, where are we going?" I asked.
" I don't know, walk around the world, try to find the pieces." He answered
" But how do we know where they are?"
" The stygian iron that's with me will have a reaction when we're close to another piece."
I understood now.
