Kendall's POV;

"What!? No there is no way-"

"-We have to! You don't understand just how beneficial this could be for us and for your pack-"

"-No YOU don't understand! There is no way i am allowing you to KILL MY MATE-"

"-She wont be DEAD dead Jeremy! Her pulse will stop then start again after an hour when the vampire gene has activa-""

"-Like i said you are NOT killing my-"

"WILL YOU BOTH SHUT UP!?" I shout/ interrupt, putting a stop to my mate and my sisters banter. My sister huffs and flops herself on the couch in annoyance sending Jeremy a glare which he gladly returns.

"Look. This choice is to be decided by neither of you. This is my choice. Our pissed off ancestors bargained with me and what happens to me is my decision." I tell them sternly. I can see in Jeremy's eyes he wants to argue but he says nothing.

"I agree with Kendall. This is no one else's decision but her own. Just tell her the benefits and disadvantages and lets get on with this, we don't have much time." Tyce surprises us all with his wise input. He sits there looking at us, his expression showing nothing but pure boredom.

In this moment with his attitude and smart short remark, he reminded me of myself which makes me slightly uncomfortable.

I roll my eyes but say nothing. Jeremy gives me a look saying 'we need to talk'. I simply shake my head letting him know there was nothing to speak about. He knows it is my choice and that i will do what i believe is in the best interest of figuring out our sticky situation.

"What Tyce said." I agree and begin to give out orders.
"I need pro's and con's. Kath i will leave it to you to write up a list and we will go over it in half an hour. Tyce make sure she is not biased and help her out. I need some air, I'm just going to step outside for a bit." I advise. Tyce and Kathryn both nod and disperse to get materials. I don't bother telling Jeremy to do anything knowing well he is going to follow me and attempt to sway my feelings on the situation.

I walk out to the back deck of the house and breathe in the crisp winter air. I hear Jeremy's steps follow behind me just as i predicted and hear him shut the glass sliding door behind him i'm assuming for some extra privacy.

"Have you lost your mind?" He starts his argument.
"You have to be completely out of your mind! Kendall you have to literally die to transition! What if you don't come back?" He exclaims from behind me. I simply close my eyes and breathe in deeply. Welcoming the cold and listening to the rustling of the trees and leaves around me.

"Kendall? are you seriously ignoring me right now? this is serious."He continues. Again i stay silent.

I was trying to get myself into a relaxed state and I was not letting Jeremy ruin it for me. I wanted a moment to breathe and to think. I open my eyes and stare out into the darkness, the shadows and silhouettes of the tall trees in the distance dancing with the wind.

I lick my dry lips and turn to look at Jeremy finally after a moment. I look up him. His big dark eyes glowing slightly in the dark. I can feel the heat radiating off of his body from 2 meters away, and I can sense his worry. He frowns at me in confusion when i send him a small smile.

"I understand you're worried Jer." I finally speak. I lick my chapped lips again, even though i know out in this weather it probably isn't the best idea unless i want my lips to end up stinging.

"But it seems like this is the best solution that has presented itself. There is nothing else i can thing of that can help me with both my mission and my family situation. Jeremy my vampire gene is going to get triggered one day just as my others were. But at least for once it will be on my terms and i can somewhat prepare myself." I tell him. He clenches his jaw and i can tell i have made a reasonable point.
