recap: you cuddled up with quinton, and you felt safe. he's the one,you thought. he really loves me.
••back to the story•• •september 21st (fast forward) •8:00 am •New York City (hotel)
you woke up in your room, and everybody decided to keep their roommates the same to make life easier. you had uploaded the story time about you and jaden a couple days before, and you made sure to tell your fans to not give him hate. they listened to you which made you really happy.
you checked your socials for a little bit and waited for nessa to get out of the shower. the other girls were already at brunch with the boys but you had cramps so you stayed back.
you then heard a knock at the door. you opened it and saw quinton there with a playful pout on his face. he gave you a big bear hug and you said "aww what's wrong?"
"i had a bad dream and now i need your cuddles"
you laughed and you both went to your bed. you said "how did you know i was here?" he said "everyone had came into my room so they could leave together and ellie said that you weren't feeling good." you said "she's right".
you texted nessa to make sure she knew that quinton was there so that she didn't walk out of the bathroom naked or just in a towel. you & quinton talked and then it was your turn to shower. you wore ⬇️:

when you got out, quinton was on the bed on his phone and nessa had left. you put away your dirty pajamas and quinton gave you a hug from behind.
"you're really cute you know that?"
"you're beautiful"
"aww"
you put your phone and other stuff in your purse. quinton put you on his back and you started giggling. you said "what are you doing?" he said "watch this. i'm a cheetah." and he raced down the hall, all the way to the lobby, to the buffet, and to your group's table since they were still there. when you got there, you see two empty seats in between jaden and anthony. you say hi to everyone. you and quinton are thinking the same thing when you see the seats. quinton gives you the "are you sure" look. you slightly nod and sit next to jaden to let quinton sit next to anthony.
thankfully, ellie was across from you so you talked to her. then, jaden mutters to you quietly, "mack can we please talk?" without making eye contact, you say "jaden you can't call me that anymore. you lost that privilege once i caught you in the bathroom kissing your ex."
"is quinton allowed to call you mack?"
"yes, because he is a good person and doesn't go behind my back"
"please mackenzie, i can explain what happened."
"do you still love her jaden?"
"i don't know"
"did you think you loved her when you kissed her?"
"i think so.."
you got up and went to the bathroom to think.
•••ellie's pov•••
i knew something was up when mackenzie left after talking to jaden, but no one was listening to what they were talking about. i would've followed her but i know how she needs to be alone sometimes. the group was kinda weirded out and most people were giving jaden the side eye, while he just sulked while on his phone. me, bryce, and avani were whispering about what we think happened. then, mack called me. i showed my phone to them and they said "answer it."
as soon as i answered it, i looked at avani and bryce with a worried look. i answered it and said "what's up bubs?" she said "are you alone right now?" thank god she's not crying, i thought. "no i'm with everyone at the table."
"can you be alone right now?"
"yeah of course."
i went to the back & kept eye contact with bryce. i know he's like a brother to her so i made sure he knew she was okay.
"do you have any tampons with you? i'm bleeding."
"yeah, holy shit. i thought you were crying."
"not yet boo"
i chuckled and got my purse from the back of my chair. i ran into the bathroom and on my way, i mouthed to bryce "japan attacked." (a/n: who else says "japan has attacked" when they talk about their period?) he nods in understanding and sighs in relief and then goes back to his conversation.
••back to mackenzie (1st person)•• when ellie walked in, i smiled and she gave me the tampon from her purse. i went into the stall and did my business. when i walked back out, ellie and i looked at eachother and laughed uncontrollably.
we walked back to brunch, still laughing. when we got back, ellie made sure to talk to me every second so that jaden wouldn't try to. then, i checked my phone and saw a DM from one of my favorite youtubers - emma chamberlain. i almost screamed, and i said "oh my god!! q look!" he looked over at my phone and he saw it and he said "oh my god! that's so cool!"
i told everyone else about it and i answered her back. she was active on instagram as i sent it so we immediately started messaging back and forth quickly. the DM's read:
@emmachamberlain hi i saw you on instagram and youtube and you are so pretty & funny, we should hang out soon!
@mackenziebaker hey omg i'm such a huge fan!! i would love to be friends! i would totally hang out but i'm in new york city right now for tour, and i'll be back around october 15th.
@emmachamberlain omg i'm in NYC for meetings and stuff, and i'm free all week!
@mackenziebaker perfect!! today's our day off so i am free today, could we meet up at the ***** mall around 3:00?
