After the hectic race during the sports festival, it was time to move on to the next round. Midnight stood on the stage and looked over the students standing in the middle of the packed stadium while gesturing to the large board with students' names and numbers.
"Forty-two of you are qualified to move on to the next round," Midnight stated. "Gird your loins and prepare for your next test! A cavalry battle! Those of you at the top will suffer the most."
The forty-two students stare up at Midnight with anticipation, along with the chattering crowds. "Of course, you'll hear that over and over again at UA. Show us what 'Plus Ultra' means!" She swings her whip in Izuku's direction and all eyes turn to him. "Izuku Midoriya placed first in the qualifier. He'll be worth ten million!"
Izuku's heart felt like it was going to pop out of his chest, the sweat dripping down his forehead as he clenched his teeth. [F/N] stared Izuku down with everyone else, a smile tugging at her lips. 'I'm impressed he made first place. He doesn't seem to use his quirk often. Perhaps it's luck?' She thinks slyly before turning her attention to Midnight.
"First years, these are the rules that you'll abide by," Her voice echoes through the speakers as she gestures to the board behind her. "The game itself will last fifteen minutes. Individual point values will be added together to reach your team total. Everyone will know how much your worth thanks to your headbands. Swipe as many headbands as you can to raise your team's score."
[F/N] and Shinso both exchange cheeky smiles with one another.
"Stolen headbands must be worn from the neck up. So the more you steal the harder it'll be to manage them. And another thing—Even if you're headband gets stolen or your team falls down, you can keep playing until time's up."
Everyone muttered and mumbled to one another about strategies and such, but Midnight wasn't done explaining. "This is going to be rough. You may use your quirks as much as you like. But there are still rules! Make a team fall on purpose and I'll slap with a red card. You'll be disqualified!"
A timer for fifteen minutes popped up on the board and Midnight ordered everyone to form their teams. Almost instantly, [F/N] wrapped Shinso in a hug and squealed.
"Hello, teammate!"
Shinso chuckles and pats her back, looking around for others. 'We need someone strong and quick. Powerful. But who?'
[F/N] sighs deeply while looking around. "So, who else should be on our team?"
Shinso catches sight of Ojiro and Aoyama and smirks. "I think I found our potential teammates. But there's no saying they'll join us willingly, so I might need to use my quirk for this one. All right?"
[F/N] smiles with determination in her eyes. "All right!"

All the teams joined together and the timer went off.
Midnight stretched her arms and sighed. "Oh, goody. It's time to get this party started."
Up in the booth, Present Mic was going on a yelling rampage while poor Aizawa had to sit there and listen to it all. "Hey, hey! Look alive!" Present Mic said, shaking Aizawa awake, and turning his attention back to the Calvary battle.
"After fifteen minutes to pick teammates and talk strategy, twelve Calvary teams are prepared to go head to head!" Present Mic announced to the whole stadium, who cheered in return.
Aizawa slowly wakes himself back up, staring down at his students intensely through his wrapped bandages. He noticed some unexpected teams put together, thinking that this was going to be interesting.
"Come on! Everyone get your hands in the air! It's time for an arena bumping UA battle royal! Let me hear you scream!!"
[F/N] stood on guard as the front of her team, Ojiro and Aoyama as left and right wing, and Shinso took place as the head.
"You ready?!" [F/N] asked the team excitedly, but mostly just Shinso since her other two teammates were brainwashed.
"Yeah. I'm ready when you are," Shinso stated, waiting for the signal to go.
Then, as quickly as they had gathered, it was time to fight.
