Yet it was a cool day in July where she felt something enter her, whether it be a higher being or not. She felt it inside of her, so much so it forced her to arch her back with a deep breath in. She was filled with a sense of happiness and a warmness that could have been a word that she never associated herself with; hope. She smiled at her friend she had made. She hadn't smiled in 2 months. Never when a nurse was to make a joke with her or a friend of hers trying to pull a silly face, to make her laugh. She couldn't believe in that moment after so long, she finally felt a difference within. The demon's grip had slipped away and she swore on that day, she would never be so vulnerable ever again to psychosis. For she had accepted her illness and was sent on her way to live a fulfilling and (hopefully) happy life. Although she felt a wriggling worry, a cold voice telling her 'This isn't over'. But she knew within herself, she would fight against this and never let it have it's way with her ever again.
Well... this came out different to what I intentioned it to come out like but that's ok. As writers or readers, we know stories have twists and turns. The feeling of excitement and wanting to just get the words out onto the page is the best feeling. This experience was meant to raise awareness and help others who have similar symptoms to the girl in the story. The story helps others relate and think, 'Hey, I'm not alone'. Which is true! You are not alone, ever. Feel free to message me if any one of you need help or just advice. I do not mind.
