Kakashi’s POV:
“So, Kakashi, I’d set some rules if I were you,” Ai warned, drawing her sword and spinning it around her wrist.
The Captain tossed me one of the ANBU’s traditional swords, and I raised my headband to show my Sharingan. I saw that Ai turned on her Sharingan as well, and started thinking of the downsides to fighting her.
“The rules are…there are no rules. Just don’t kill me.” She nodded and sat down. “Uh…what are you doing?”
“Not killing you. That was the rule, right?”
I growled and ran at her, aiming a hit at her chest. She let the sword hit, but it just went right through her.
“How…?”
“My uncle with the mask taught me that. Come on now, try again.” I tensed and took a few steps back to give me some room to think. “No? Ok, then. I’ll come to you.”
She stood and ran at me, trailing her sword behind her. I tried to jump out of the way, but she was right behind me, and started slicing her sword at me. My eyes widened, and she increased her speed. My Sharingan could barely follow her now, and I almost missed blocking her attacks. This was nothing like the speed she had used during her fight with the Hokage. She had been reigning herself in then, and she was put in one of the strongest positions in ANBU immediately. And now she was actually trying. I blocked her sword and tried to punch her, but she caught my fist. Her palm mouth bit my knuckles with enough force to almost break the bone.
I smirked. Now that I had her hands occupied, I could land a kick. She saw my leg coming and jumped to the opposite side of the arena. Her hand moved quickly, making hand signs, while her other arm hung to the side, ready to attack with her sword. I cut my thumb and got ready to summon my dogs to help. She formed the Chidori in her hand and ran at me. I barely had time to dodge, but she let the Chidori die out and raised her hand. Kunai, shuriken, and senbon shot out of her hand and were all headed towards me.
“Fire style, fireball jutsu!” I yelled, and destroyed them before they had a chance to hit or explode.
We landed and both skidded to opposite ends of the arena again. “Don’t you realize Kakashi? I’m only using the techniques you’ve helped me with.”
“I realized. And I’m beginning to be sorry I ever helped you with them…,” I muttered, and threw a kunai.
She spun her sword, blocking the kunai, and shook her head. “Ok, ok. Now let’s use some of my original jutsu.”
She reached into her pouch and pulled out a large lump of clay, then divided it into thirds and placed each section into one of her three mouths. She spit out a small bird from her mouth and it grew big enough to carry her. She jumped on its head, and it flew into the air. From there, her hands started shooting small sheets of clay all around me, much like Haku’s Crystal Ice Mirrors jutsu. The mirrors started closing in on me, and I dove under the ground. Something tapped my shoulder, and I found myself flying into a wall with Ai’s bird following me. I hit the wall, and she jumped off the bird. It flew into her hand, and she pulled out a scroll. She ran her thumb along the paper and started doing hand signs, almost fifty different signs. I felt a huge amount of chakra, and saw a small ring of different colored chakras surrounding her. She was using the demon’s chakra.
My eyes widened, and I used three hand signs. “Saru-U-Ushi!” I created the Raikiri around my hand.
“Finally, you’re trying!” she yelled, and pulled a glove on her hand.
I ran at her, and she came at me, the Rasengan forming in her gloved hand. The Raikiri and Rasengan collided, and a giant orb of black chakra surrounded us. We were both thrown back and hit the walls at opposite ends.
