Juvia POV

It was a muddy track and I'm the one to blame. If I hadn't been so upset last night, rain wouldn't have had happened. Rain brings a huge disadvantage to us.

"It's all Juvia's fault. Everything's Juvia's fault!" I cried while swinging my arms in the air out of rage.

I looked at the path before me. Darkness. Nothing but darkness. The plants are all the same and the sky was dark. Not a single star to be seen.

"Juvia's cold," I mumbled.

The wind was blowing harshly. I couldn't help but think about Gray-sama. Unconsciously, I touched my cheek. The pain was no longer there but I could replay it in my head.

I felt watched. As if my every move was being judged upon. I would turn around occasionally to ensure I'm not being followed.

Suddenly, I heard a twig snap.

I quickly turned around. But nobody was there.

"Oh you poor soul," a voice faintly whispered.

My heart began racing like crazy. It's the wizard, no doubt about it. Without thinking, I started throwing random attacks in every direction out of fear.

"Water Jigsaw!" I yelled as water came attacking the voice.

However, my magic only merely slashed the trees that were able to recover quickly. I was contemplating on running away when a cloak figure emerged from the darkness

"Get away!" I cried.

My legs were rooted to the ground and tears started to flow down my cheeks uncontrollably.

"Are you done?" He asked in a bored tone.

I shut my eyes closed, embracing myself to get whacked but instead, he pulled me into a tight hug.

"What is figure-san doing?" I stammered.

He run his fingers through my hair and whispered 'shh' repeatedly.

My heart was still beating quickly. I was frozen in shock and fear. What is he going to do next? Stab me?

"Let go of Juvia please," I faintly whispered while choking on my own tears.

"You're not crying cause you're afraid of me, are you?" He asked.

I dare not reply.

"Someone's hurt you beforehand. That's why you're crying so easily," he continued.

"No," I denied.

The man let go of me but kept a hold of my shoulders.

"I can help you," he simply said.

I gulped. There's no way I'm accepting help from a stranger.

"No thank you," I stuttered as I looked away but his grip on my shoulders got tighter.

"I can take your pain away," he added.

I shook my head, "Just let Juvia go please!" I cried.

"Juvia, I can really help you. I can help you get that boy to fall in love with you," he said.

My eyes widened. He knows about Gray-sama?

"Juvia doesn't need help!" I exclaimed while staring back at him but he simply chuckled.

He let go of my shoulders and reached out his hand.

"Don't deny this."

I shook my head and looked away. I couldn't do it. He's the bad guy! But if I don't heed to his command I might get killed. Who's going to protect Gray-sama then?

"I'm not here to hurt you Juvia Lockser," He said.

I bit my lips and wiped my tears. He didn't cause any injuries on me but neither does he seem trustworthy. I gazed at his gloved hand and shut my eyes closed. What would my comrades think of me?

"Okay Figure-san."

Erza POV

I've been walking around in circles. I hate to admit it but I'm lost. Master told us to always walk straight and never go astray as that is the forest's way to entice and keep you trap in it forever. However, I thought I heard the sound of strong water splashing so I ran to the source but nobody was there. I swore I heard Juvia's voice as well.

"This forest is playing tricks on you Erza!" I scolded to myself.

It was deadly silent. All I could hear was the clanging of my metal armour. The only blessing I've received so far was this fairly cool weather.

"4 people have faced the wizard and disappeared, I can't seem to connect with them," Warren said through telekinesis.

I stopped dead on my tracks.

"4? Are you sure? Who are they?" I questioned as I looked at my wrist.

The bracelet was flashing brightly. This could possibly attract attention in this dark forest.

"Wendy, Juvia, Yukino and Kagura," Warren responded.

I gasped. This was inevitable but I didn't expect it to be them. My friends...I need to save them no matter what!

"Erza!" A voice screamed.

I quickly turn around and my eyes widened.

"Jellal?" I stammered.

He was covered in blood. His clothes were torn and his face was covered in bruises and scratch marks.

I quickly ran to his side and supported him as he was barely limping.

"What happened? Did you come in contact with the wizard?" I frantically asked.

Jellal put his arm over me and began coughing out blood. The scene was horrid.

"Warren! Do you hear me? Send medical aid to my location! Jellal is gravely injured," I yelled but no answer.

"Goddammit why isn't he answering me?" I mumbled.

I pressed two fingers against my ear.

"Warren?" I shouted.

But no answer.

"Huh...he was able to reply to me just minutes ago.." I asked worriedly.

I glanced at Jellal. I needed to save him one way or another.

I gently place him on the floor.

"Stay here okay? I'll try to find help," I instructed.

Before I could run off, Jellal gripped onto my wrists causing me to tumble backwards.

"Jellal!" I exclaimed with a red face as I fell above him.

His bangs covered his eyes and his grip on my wrists got tighter. He wasn't smiling so this wasn't a joke.

"What are you doing? Let go of me!" I said, feeling uncomfortable.

I tried to forcefully pull myself away but I couldn't.

"You're so sweet and innocent," Jellal sighed heavily.

He looked at me in the eyes. His eyes were...red. As red as my hair.

"You're not Jellal. Who are you?" I scowled as I summon a sword using my free hand.

"You don't have to know that for now, my little scarlet," he smirked.

I furrowed my eyebrows and lifted my sword, ready to stab him but he quickly placed two fingers on my forehead.

"What are-"

Everything turned black.

I couldn't believe I fall for that.
