Mira POV

"4 people have faced the wizard and disappeared. I can't seem to connect with them," Warren reported through telekinesis.

I sighed heavily. Master...I admire you a ton but going head first in this mission wasn't the wisest decision but then again, you're probably not in the right mind to think right now.

I wonder how Lis and Elfman is doing. I hope they're fine and they didn't drove astray. To be truthful, the forest didn't scare me. I was use to the darkness and loneliness. Back in our old town, people ostracised me for my demonic capabilities so depending on myself was no issue.

All I could think about were my two younger siblings. My world.

"Mirajane!" Someone cried out loud.

I looked up and saw Carla crying and flying at high speed towards me.

"Carl-" Before I could finish my sentence, she gave me a tight hug.

"Wendy! Wendy is gone!" She sobbed.

I blinked my eyes twice to make sure this wasn't a dream. I had to accept reality.

I sighed softly and hugged her back.

"I'm so sorry Carla," I whispered.

I pat her head. She was sobbing uncontrollably.

"You need to help me Mirajane! Help me find her, she might be dead!" Carla finally looked up.

Her eyes were puffy and red from all the crying.

"I will Carla," I responded with a small smile.

Carla let go of me and wiped her tears.

"I know you're sad right now but we must put up a strong front for Wendy. I don't know where she is right now or how she is but moping around wouldn't make her happy," I cheered as I caress her cheek.

"You're right, that's what I told Wendy too," She stammered but I knew she was still upset.

From a distance, I could sense a demonic-like dark magic. I knew he was here.

"Carla, I need you to run," I whispered.

Carla's eyes widened, "Huh? Mirajane what's happen-"

"Just run. As quickly as you can and as far as you can. Find Romeo," I instructed.

Carla got the memo and spoke in a soft tone.

"Romeo?" Carla whispered.

I nodded, "Find him and tell him what you know. He'll help you," I smiled.

"How can he help me?" She asked.

I simply grinned at her. Carla's eyes widened when she realised something. She held her head and stared at the ground.

"I'm getting a vision-" she cried and looked at me, "Romeo..."

"Mhm go now," I hummed.

Carla nodded her head, "Thank you, Mira," she smiled and flew off.

"It's just you and me," I said sternly.

I heard a laugh. A husky laugh.

"You're able to detect my magic as well as I detect yours. I can sense you're a very powerful she-demon Mirajane Strauss," The man said.

"Why thank you, that means nothing coming from the man who killed several people," I clenched my fists.

"Killed? Don't you think that's too low for someone like me? I will never killed anybody," He laughed.
