Ron is not special.
He's not the oldest Weasly, he's not the girl Weasly, he's not the successful Weasly, he's not the smart Weasly, he's not the trouble makeing Weasly, and he's not the youngest Weasly. He's just Ron. And that's just in his family; Ron is just as unimportant in his personal life.
He's Harry's side kick, he isn't smart like Hermione, he can't fly brooms like Harry, he can't save people like Harry and Hermione, he's not even a coward or bad at everything like Neville; at least if he was that he would have some discernible thing. I mean hell Seamus just has an Irish accent and even just that makes him more interesting then Ron.
But he's advrage. It's like he's the side character in his own life. All of his family members and friends are so incredible, and then there's him, who's only recognized because Harry is his friend, without that, no one would ever care who he is.
He's really proud of everyone for being so great, but sometimes, he wishes he could be like that too. Just to have accomplished something cool. Just once,
