Chapter 2
Pietro's Pov:
I smile because I just made us three new friends! Well hopefully. I remember Wanda's waiting for me so I keep sprinting.
I get to the building and start to climb up. I fling myself over the edge and collapse by Wanda's feet.
"I'm sorry I'm late!" I blurt out and she laughs.
"It's fine Pietro, how was your run?"
"Oh it was amazing!" I say then proceed in telling her everything that happened.
"And they're gonna show us around the school! We have to meet them there in probably like 45 minutes," I finish smiling.
"That's great!" Wanda says smiling.
"So where are we gonna put our stuff during the day?" I ask.
"A tree?" Wanda suggests. That's what we usually do.
"Okay, let's go find a tree and then get something to eat." I say.
"Sounds good" she replies and we start packing all our stuff into our big backpack.
I take the big backpack, Wanda grabs our two school bags and we start to climb down from the building.
We head off looking for a big tall tree and after a bit of walking we find one that satisfies us.

After we secured our stuff we went to the grocery store and bought some cucumbers and carrots. The carrots are for our lunch and the cucumbers are for now, our breakfast.
We go to back to the Lincoln Memorial Pool place and sit down on a bench eating out cucumbers.
"Are those the boys?" Wanda asks me once I'm about halfway done.
I look up and see them coming towards us, "Yeah that's them," I say standing up.
"Pietro!" Sam says waving.
Me and Wanda start walking over to them. "Hey guys, this is Wanda," I say.
"Hi Wanda, I'm Steve and that's Bucky and Sam." Steve says.
"Hey," she says smiling.
"Wait why are you guys eating cucumbers?" Bucky asks.
"Breakfast," Wanda states smiling.
I just look at her and she smiles so I smile back. "Yeah, breakfast,"
"Um okay then..." Steve says awkwardly smiling.
"If you don't mind me asking, where are you guys from?" Bucky asks.
"Sokovia," Wanda replies .
"I have no idea where that is, but you guys have cool accents." Sam laughs.
"Thanks?" I smile a little.
"We should probably get to school now." Steve smiles looking up from his watch. It's a weird watch, chunky and colourful, but who am I to judge.
We start walking and they tell us about the teachers and the school.
"Pietro, you should definitely join the track team," Sam says
"We're all on it," Bucky adds.
"Maybe... What other teams are there?" I nod thinking of what team Wanda could join.
"There's a lot," Steve replies.
"Once we introduce you to our friends we can explain whose on what team."
"You have friends?" I ask then immediately realize how that came out.
"Pietro!" Wanda says smirking.
"Sorry I didn't mean it in a bad way!" I quickly say.
"It's fine, but yeah we have friends," Steve smiles.
"We're almost at school so you'll get to meet them soon." Sam sighs.
"Okay," Wanda says smiling at me.
"Wait guys, school starts in five minutes!" Steve practically shouts as he glances at his watch.
"Uh oh," I smirk and we all start to run.
We get there right as the bell rings.
"You two will need to go to the office so we might not see each other till lunch." Bucky points to the office.
"But come sit with us at lunch, we'll introduce you to our friends then," Steve says before speed walking down the hall.
"Okay bye!" I wave as me and Wanda head to the office.
