Chapter 8

Loki's Pov:

"So you're positive I can't change my schedule?" I ask Fury one last time.

"Loki, we've gone over this."

"Fine, bye." I sigh and leave his office.

"No luck?" Phil asks as I gently slam Fury's door.

"No luck," I sigh.

"I can try to talk to him again but you know how he is.."

"It's fine, he isn't gonna let up. Guess I'm just gonna get a lot of detentions from now on." I put on a small smile that we both know is fake.

"You can always come here to 'help' me out," he smiles putting quotations around help.

"Thanks Phil." That's what I did last year almost every class each day. Eventually the teachers told Phil that he sucks at his job if he always needs me to help him.

He grins back, "Anytime Loki, you know I'm always on your side. But you should go before Fury sees your still here." he says the last part quietly.

I smile, give him 'the Shaka' and walk out. I look through the window and he does it back.

It's pretty dumb but we've always done it since we first met. I'd watched Zola bully lots of kids so finally I decided to teach him a little lesson. I stole some rope from the janitor's closet and punched him. It knocked him out, I tied him onto my back and climbed the baseball diamond.  I then tied his wrists to the edge of it and climbed down to wait on the ground.

Once he regained consciousness I shouted his name and when he looked at me I did the Shaka and smirked.

Phil had been watching the whole thing from his office and thought it was hilarious. Cause the Shaka can represent 'hang loose' and I'd in a way hung him.

I ended up getting suspended for three weeks but it was so worth it. Me and Phil have been buds since.

Unfortunately, Zola and his buds have been after me since... Still worth it though.

I sigh. Just have to make it to second period I tell myself as I turn the corner.

"Well if it isn't our little diva." Obadiah growls, I make myself think of second period.

"Yes hello to you too," I try to keep walking.

"Not so fast," Thanos grins and sticks his hand in front of me.

"Yeah you too," I sigh as I bring my knee up and hit him where nobody wants to get hit.

I try running down the hallway but it's hard to breath. I cough and turn another corner.

Sadly it was too good to be true for me to escape that easily. I get tripped and face plant.

I groan as my ribs smack the ground. I don't feel like dealing with this today. I really don't.

"Guess little diva ain't got no brains huh," Zola says laughing. That doesn't even make sense.

I start to try and get up but I fell weight push down on my back. Hammer, he must have been the one to trip me.

"You guys really are sore losers huh," I groan with a small smirk.

Justin pushes down harder and Zola walks towards me and kicks my face.

I groan from my ribs being crushed against the ground. They're already bruised and this really isn't helping.

I have a very high pain tolerance so I can deal with the pain, I just don't want them to puncture my lung or something like that.

Justin starts walking and sliding me along the floor with him. And we're in the janitor's closet. I grunt. I'm having a lot of trouble breathing.

Justin lifts his foot and I roll over. I lift my shirt up and look down.

"Dude that looks bad." Justin whispers to Zola.

"Let's not get to involved with this." Zola replies. Yeah a little too late for that Zola.

"You're not looking to good Loki, may be this'll help." he says giving my ribs a hard kick from the side.

"Later diva." Justin says as they walk out.
