Okay but like in the Son of Neptune when Percy started remembering things because of the Gorgons blood, he called his mom in Alaska. It was the first time he'd contacted anybody since he went missing. He left her a voicemail telling her he was okay and he was on a quest. In the Mark of Athena, Annabeth says she and Sally remained in contact and even saw each other once a week to lift each other's spirits and keep each other updated. Just imagine Sally calling Annabeth with the news that Percy had left her a voicemail and he was okay. My heart.
