I reawoken in a cell. Oh god what happened now? "Miles, are you okay now?" I heard a female ask outside the cell, Suki. I groaned and looked over to see an anxious Suki. I nodded and stood next to the barred door. "We had to lock you up Miles. You're about to get questioned." She sighed, my eyes widened and whispered "Why? Why me?" Making tears brim my eyes. Suki looked over to the exit and Alex came over "Are you ready Miles?" He asked unlocking the door. I nodded "I guess..." I muttered looking down, my heart pounded as I felt the grim lights glow on me.

We got the questioning room and I saw Zach's eyes widen in astonishment. "Is he being questioned, Turner?" Zach asked Alex who helped me to a chair. "Sadly yes. It'll all add up once you ask him." Alex replied not looking at me. I looked at my shoes, leather ankle boots. I smelt the air, sweat and rage. It reminded me of my crime days. "Mr Kane do you want Alex or Suki to stay?" Zach questioned, I glanced over at Suki nodding and mouthing, "for your own good." I rolled my eyes and mumered shyly, "I suppose." Making my stomach twist into a thousand knots. Suki pulled up a chair and smiled reassuringly at me. I hid my blush as Zach sat down opposite us and begun to record. "Los Angeles Police Station, Sargent Zachary Dawes with Miles Kane on the case concerning The Rascals and Echo and the Bunnymen which occurred July 2008. The date is 26th March 2015." Zach introduced. I began feeling like it was 2008. Everything was like a time machine. I was slipping into a world I didn't want to.

"Miles Peter Kane, you're under arrest for the murder of Ian McCulloch, anything you say now will be replayed in court." The officer snapped. I froze as tears ran down my face. "No...no...please I did nothing." I sobbed, the officer shook her head, "Come on Kane we've seen those plans you had." She hissed making me whimper and try and run away. "Don't you dare run away you brat. It'll just make you more likely to end up in prison." She added grabbing my arms hard and making me wince in pain. She dragged me out of my apartment and into a police car. I saw Agnes crying and begging to gain answers, poor girl doesn't know why this is happening. We were in the middle of packing to leave for America. Then it happened.

"Miles, do you need a lawyer?" The officer asked. I shook my head. She opened her notebook and clicked her pen. "Where were you 4th June 2008?" She asked, reality I was in the room with Tim and he had beaten me to a pulp. "Home with Agnes. I was...just...really sick that...that day." I lied. The officer stared hard at me. "No what REALLY happened?" She yelled making me tremble. "The Studio with Tim. He had beaten me up till I was a blueberry and out cold." I sighed. She wrote that down then asked, "Did you go with Eva Peterson to America and kill Ian McCulloch?" I shook my head knowing that if the others are discovered then they'd find me and kill me. "Why didn't you go? I heard the payout was going to be good and you planned it." She snapped. I shrugged and thought of lying again but it would be worse. "I was pressured into planning it. I was also planning to leave, next month for America. Me and Agnes have had enough of this." I replied honestly. I then added, "I've been a criminal since I was 13, I am now 20 and I don't want to be this monster anymore." She wrote it all down. That night I was locked in a cell. The first night I ever got a nightmare.

Zach asked me, "Did you know Ian McCulloch?" I looked into his gaze and replied, "Yes. He was an old friend. Yet he came to be an enemy after he scammed my old gang." Suki nodded slowly. "What did he scam you with or on?" Zach asked. To be honest, loads of things but the one that made us angry was his plan to gatecrash a small bands gig and to attack fans. "He told us he would gatecrash small bands who had gigs on. Sometimes he'd attack fans. We went to one of these nights and he was being pally with the drummer and using our money for drugs." I sighed. Zach nodded then asked, "What would give someone an idea to kill Ian?" I laughed and apologized but it was hilarious. There was loads of reasons why you'd want to kill him. "There's just loads of reasons." I replied after laughing. Suki's eyes widened. "I wanted him dead for trying to make me overdose." I snarled before seeing Alex on the other side with angry eyes as he couldn't believe his ears.

Zach then asked me "Why did you plan it?" Making me jump and as I did it for money. I did it as I was promised 60% of the money from this murder. "I was promised 60% of the money we would earn from this and I needed it for moving away." I explained. I also never got that money in full. I didn't mind. Agnes had been given a head start by her brother. "One last question, if you didn't kill him, who in the gang would have?" Zach asked making me more anxious. I felt my stomach twist and I was about to be sick I swear. "I can't say. It would kill me." I whispered before walking out and seeing the night grow cold. No one followed me. I guess I could use the alone time. "Well Miles you need to run as now everyone will hunt you like they are a midnight wolf." I muttered to myself before I felt a blindfold being wrapped around my eyes and a rope around my stomach. "HEY! GET OFF ME! SUKI?! ALEX?!" I cried trying to fight them but they tapped my mouth and punched me out cold. "Now you'll learn what the truth is Kane." A voice laughed while dragging me to a van and speeding off.
