SUKI'S POV
Miles cried into his knees and muttered gibberish while me and a nurse tried to calm him. He occasionally screamed something like "WHY DID HE DIE?!" or "HE WANTED TO SAVE ME!" The nurse was confused by that and I knew who he was, Jay. Eventually he stopped crying. Like when a storm passes, you can see the clouds clearing and a small sun ray of hope. The nurse soon left me with him and I could finally see the damage Albarn had made. "Mi, can you lift your shirt up?" I asked nervously. He looked up from his knees, he had lost his voice due to the screaming. "Why, aren't you happy enough to see me like this?" He croaked bitterly. I shook my head and grabbed his hand and felt how cold he was. "Mi, I just need photographs for evidence." I protested. He took an aided breath and then croaked, "If you want to laugh then the door is open." I sighed and took that as a "it's okay" I got out my camera and he went numb like it twisted something in his mind. "Miles?" I asked unsure if he would reply. He shook his head and tightly closed his eyes and gripped the hand he was holding harder. I knew later he was afraid of my camera as it's the same brand Albarn used.

After taking the photos, despite Miles's fights and cries and attempts to attack me, I kissed his forehead and felt slight shaking underneath. "Mi, you're shaking..." I whispered shocked at the scene. "Are you scared? Is the turtle going back to his shell?" I asked before Miles looked at me with a blank face. Seizure. He was about to have a seizure. "I'll get a doctor stay calm." I screamed as I ran to get the nearest doctor. "Hey sir, my friend is having a seizure! You got to help him!" I cried at the nearest doctor. He ran after me and Miles was already deep in his seizure. His face scrunched up like a nut and bolt. His body violently shaking like a phone. His drool dripping down and heart racing. The doctor held the sides of his head and I grabbed Miles's legs as his seizure slowly calmed down. "Thank you so much sir. Please, d'you know any medication he'd need?" I asked. He gave me a confused look and suggested, "Therapy?" Before leaving the room.

When Miles attacked me he was barely able to leave a bruise. His punches we're soft and like deep down he wasn't sure whether to stop, accept his trauma and let me see his bruises. "Mi...you'll be out in a few days just hold on." I whispered kissing his hand and then holding it. He nodded sleepily and nuzzled into me. His heart monitor chirped softly at the sight. I smiled and stroked his hair before singing: Wish I had a bottle right in front of me
To let the stars show me
A sense of dignity
He smiled at my singing and sung back l: I don't talk about love
I only want to get drunk
And I'm not allowed to spend
As they tell me this is the end
I felt soft tears fall on to my hand making me jump. Miles had fell asleep crying. I sighed and went to leave. I promised to meet him in a few days.

A FEW DAYS LATER MILES'S POV
I had gotten better physically in 3 weeks at the hospital and was so glad Suki and Alex were there to make sure I was okay. A nurse came in and took off the IV patches and place Band-Aids over them. I thanked her and got dressed. I looked in the hospital mirror and winced in pain. Who was I? I calmed down after putting on some fresh clothes. Most of them were baggy. I then found the pocket knife I got from Albarn's in my jean pocket. I smiled and said to myself in the mirror "What's your next adventure sir?" I heard memories of younger me answering back "The girl needs a strong guy to protect her." This made some tears attempt to spill so I left the room.

The nurse on the desk stopped me "Mr Kane?" She called out. I looked back and replied, "Yes can I help?" Before she handed me a brown bag with medication in. "Take 3 pills a day. One with each meal." She instructioned. I nodded and smiled then she said, "Ms Waterhouse will pick you up in 30 minutes." But I had already left for my next adventure. My bag on my back and my mind racing. I looked around incase of Albarn and his gang and then walked as quick as I could to LA central station.

"Kane? You're okay?" I heard when I entered the station. I spun round to see Rosie. "Please, I'm on an adventure Rosie. I can't take you with me." I pleaded. She shook her head and we kissed. I heard her whisper, "I thought vodka had killed you." My eyes widened and I tried to pull away. "Kane, I want to see the world." She added. I felt my body numb up with those words. We stopped kissing and she waited until I replied. "I'm not leaving home. I need to go home. Dorothy was right." I sighed. She looked down and tried to think of what to say before muttering, "But you wanted to dance with me, you downed a vodka." I felt a haze of memories come over me. I whimpered and sat on the cold ground to stop myself from getting angry. "Kane please don't be one of them guys..." She screamed before kicking me. I let her kick me until I heard a train come in. "I need to dash." I whispered before getting up with ounces of pain all over me. I ran to board the train heading towards home. "KANE?!" She yelled crying. Everyone turned to me like I was in the wrong. I heard someone familiar on the train she was saying, "Can't believe he's left us Alex. He loved me as much as I loved him. I'll call you for any updates." I froze and locked eyes with her. Suki.

Suki ran towards me and hugged me making me whimper in pain. "Oh my God! I was so worried! Alex said you could've committed suicide or something." She sobbed before kissing me all over. I laughed painfully and smiled, "No need to worry I'm here now aren't I?" The train begun to move and we were on our way home. Away from Albarn and Coxon. Peace. "Also I heard you're no longer in a job." Suki added making me gulp. I shook my head "My job is loving you if you'll hire me." I whispered. She widened her eyes. "Of course Miles. It'll be a pleasure." She sighed before we kissed and everyone around us applauded.
