chapter two [after school]

Kokichi's POV

[ time skip to after school ]

I had pretty much gotten the encounter with Amami stuck in my head. I never thought he would be so nice but I do have doubts about us being friends cause many people say that to me, then they just.. disappear.

I was about to walk home when I saw  a blonde and purple hair student.

Kaito Mamota and Kaede Akamatsu.

" Hey there, punk. Did you forget what I said earlier? I said we have to meet after class", Akamatsu said, obviously irritated with me.

" I'm sorry! I just was thinking about something all day and I forgot! Ok?" I hoped she would somehow understand that not everyone can remember brief things like that.

She huffed and then she grabbed my wrist and started to sort of drag me down the hall. She didn't stop until we were outside where no one would notice us.

"Ow. What was that for? I could've walked myself y'know?" To be honest I was getting kinda mad since she acted like I was some toddler or something.

" Well, you sure act like one!" Said Kaito, with a sheepish grin.

" Well, if all you guys wanna do is irritate me and call me names, then I am out of here." I said with the most nonchalant tone I could muster. I grabbed my bag and then that's when it happened. I felt a pain in my stomach and fell to my knees.

She had punched me. Know I have no idea why I was so surprised by this but I was. Maybe, it was the fact that she hadn't punched me since 1st grade? Who knows? The only thing I thought of in the moment was pain. And that's when she and Momota started to punch and kick me over and over again then, it all went black.

Kaede's PoV

I had looked down at Ouma, who had stopped trying to block the hits, and I felt a surge of panic. I didn't mean to knock him out I just couldn't stop because it felt so,, fun. I then faced Kaito, who also had panic in his face.

"We have to get Ouma up or something before someone see's!" I whisper yelled at Kaito.

He gave me quick glance and so we just kinda kicked him a little. Every thing seemed to be good because it seemed like he was waking up but then something horrible happened.
