"Louis, Louis, Louis, Louis," Along with these words came a constant poke to my cheek. I cracked my eye open to find my seven year old sister Daisy poking me cheek. "We're here," she whispered seeing that I was awake.

I groaned and stretched my limbs. My parents had brought us up here for a small vacation before we had to start at new schools next fall. We had just moved here from London for dad's job and everyone was still adjusting. Except Daisy and Phoebe. They were completely fine.

I hopped out of the car and started unloading the bags from the boot. Lottie came over to grab her bag not even bothering to look up from her phone. I shook my head, kids these days. After making our way inside and making sure everyone had a room, mom called me down stairs.

"So, I know you're starting your new job next week. How are you feeling?" I looked over at her skeptically.

"Fine," I said dragging out the word. After a beat of silence I turned to her. "What are you worried about? That I won't make new friends, that I'm not going to have a fun summer, or once I have my first day working I'll want to quit?"

She blew out a puff of air. "I just want you to be happy Boo,"

"Well I'm- I'm fine so there no need to worry," I said, giving her my best reassuring look. I was fine, really, just a little lonely. Hopefully that would change this summer. "I'm going to go finish unpacking," I gave my mom a peck on the cheek and darted out of the kitchen.

My room was medium sized with a twin bed pushed in the corner, a dresser pushed up against the left side of the wall, and a small bathroom near the door. But what really caught my attention was the large bay window on the far side of the room. I walked to the window and peered our. You could see a good portion of the lake we were next to and part of a dock from another property on the far right.

Wait, was that a person sitting on the dock? It was. From what I could see it was a boy who looked to be about my age. He had curly brown hair that blew around him in the gentle wind and a strong build with broad shoulders and a lean torso. Even though I hadn't actually been caught staring, my cheeks started to warm and I could feel a blush creeping up my neck. He was just sitting there looking over the calm water. I wondered what he looked like up close. He seemed cute from a distance so he must be even cuter up close.

I was pulled from my thoughts as my mom called up the stairs, "Dinner!" I turned back to the window one last time to see the boy walking back to his house, his long legs tan from the sun he had probably soaked up. Maybe I would get a chance to meet this boy later.

I turned my back to the window and went downstairs for dinner.

I spent the next two days relaxing on the dock and swimming in the lake. I had hoped to see the boy again but he never came outside, or at least not when I was out. Before I knew it, it was Sunday evening and tomorrow would be my first day working at the summer camp down the road. I was excited but nervous as well. I hoped I made at least one friend and maybe even meet a cute boy while I was it...? Maybe I would even see the curly lad.

BEEP BEEP BEEP

"Ugh," I rolled over to turn it off. Five more minutes," I mumbled to the dark room. After not falling asleep after three minutes I just decided to get up and start my day. I yawned as I yanked open the curtains. Bright light immediately lit up the room and my vision momentarily went white as my eyes adjusted to the sun light.

I sighed as I glanced over at the clock. It was 6:17 which meant I had exactly 1 hour and 13 minutes before I had to be over at the front office of Camp Sebago. I yawned and went to take a quick shower.

I was flying around the kitchen preparing my breakfast. As I poured myself a glass of orange juice I heard the toaster pop. I quickly went to grab the hot bread and tried to eat as quickly as I could.

"Morning sweetie," my mom said as she entered the kitchen.

"Morning," I replied as I gulped down the rest of the juice in my glass. After quickly dumping my dishes in the sink and brushing my teeth, I was off. "Love you," I called to my mom as I ran out the door.

"Love you too Boo! Have a good first day!"

As I pulled into the large parking lot, my breath hitched. The view was beautiful. The camp was right in the edge of the lake and you could see the morning sun glinting off the dark water. The tall trees reached up to the sky for what looked like miles, and the mountains in the background took my breath away. I sat there for a moment before grabbing my backpack from the passenger seat and hopping out of the car.

I made my way over to a wooden pole with arrows pointing in different directions signaling to where everything was. I found the 'Office' arrow and walked right. I walked past small wooden cabins, a fenced in hexagonal area, and the nurses office before finally finding the office. I stepped inside and felt the cool air against my cheeks. It was only 7:25 in the morning but I was already sweating.

I dug around in my bag looking for some forms before going to the front desk. My eyes went wide and my breath caught in my throat. Standing in front of me, with curly brown hair, tan legs, and a lean torso, was the boy from the dock.

Harry's POV

I heard the office door slam behind me but I didn't turn around to see who it was. It was probably just another counselor and I didn't feel like being friendly this morning because, as expected, I didn't get much sleep last night. Ms.Abbott (or Clara as I called her) handed me back my papers and told me I was going to be an activates counselor this year. Clara had curly blond hair that was styled into a braid this morning and chocolate brown eyes that were framed by thick black glasses. She was around her mid 20s and her and I were good friends as I had known her for a long time due to coming here for almost 7 years.

I thanked her and turned to exit the office when I ran smack into the boy that was behind me making both of us stumble. I grabbed his biceps to make sure he didn't fall over and I noticed how big his muscles were. When he finally looked up I was shocked by how blue his eyes were. They were like the bluest sky and the bluest ocean water mixed into one. He had short feathered hair that was a light shade of brown and his cheekbones were just, wow. "You good?" I asked looking down at him because I was at least a foot taller than him.

"Y-yeah. I'm fine. Thanks," It was then that I noticed how red his lips were. The words the came from his lips also had an English accent to accompany them. His voice was a little raspy but also warm and light. Wait, why was I thinking about his lips? I was straight...at least that's what I thought. I had never felt anything toward any of the boys at my school but this one standing in front of me.......something was different about him.

I coughed as I felt my face becoming warm. "Um...sorry...about that. Bye." I exited the office as quickly as I could without making it look like I was rushing. What if I really was into guys that way. No, that couldn't be it. I had never felt that way about any of the boys that were around me at school. Maybe I just thought he was cute. That it was it, nothing more.

Yeah, sure.
