A/N: I updated early!

Harry. That was a nice name and it suited the curly headed boy. As we approached the nurses office I turned to him. "Good luck with the nose,"

"Um thanks. You too. Or actually not you too because you don't have a bloody nose, and I hope you never get one because I wouldn't want you to get hurt," I blushed at that but he still kept talking. "...walking me to the nurses you still didn't have to but it was nice so thank you and good luck with your campers and-"

"Harry," I cut him off because he was rambling and even though it was quite cute I'm pretty sure he hadn't taken a breath in the thirty seconds he had been talking. "Do you always ramble around people?"

He smiled and looked down. "No, I'm pretty sure that's the fastest I've ever talked. Again, thanks for walking me to the nurses. I should probably get this cleaned up," he said pointing to the log cabin behind him but he didn't move.

We stared at each other for a silent moment before I broke the silence saying, "It was nice meeting you Harry. Hopefully I'll see you around," I started walking backwards back towards the lunch hall.

"Yeah, nice meeting you too," he murmured quietly before turning around and walking up the steps and through the wooden door.

I walked back to the lunch hall quickly knowing that lunch was probably now over and Cassie and Jamie, my co-counselors, were waiting for me. As soon as I got back to the table we were sitting at, Cassie hopped up and handed me my bag. "We took a vote and decided to head over to the Gaga pits for group time. We have to do starter activity first though because it's the first day,"

"That's okay. It will give us a chance to learn something new about everybody and I don't know what Gaga is anyway so someone will have to explain that to me anyway," Cassie's mouth fell open at that.

"You don't know what Gaga is?" she asked, her eyes wide.

"No. Sorry," I told her with a weak smile and my eye brows drawn together and slightly up.

"Well you're gonna learn to play today," she said, with a determined look on her face.

"Okay but we should probably get going so we actually have time to play," I said with a chuckle.

Jamie nodded and turned to our group of about twenty children. "Alright children! To the Gaga pits!" Jamie pointed to the ceiling with an outstretched arm and an adventurous look on their face like they had just declared something.

Cassie smiled and walked out the door with campers in tow. Jamie took the middle and I ended up at the end of the group making sure no campers got left behind. It wasn't long before a little girl was walking next to me. She was small and looked to be about seven or eight as were most of our campers.

"Hi. What's your name?" I asked her.

She turned to look at me shyly before turning her head back and keeping her gaze on the boys walking in front of us. "I'm Ruby. Your name is Louis right?"

"Mhm," I said nodding.

"Why do you talk funny Louis?" Ruby asked looking up at me.

"Well I'm not here from here. I just moved here from Doncaster which is a town in England, across the ocean. The people there talk just like I do but to you I sound different because I have accent," I explained to her.

"Does having an accent mean you sound different from me?"

"I guess. Some people lose their accents if they move to a certain place when they're young but because I'm older I'll still have my accent." I looked at Ruby and she was nodding her head seemingly understanding what I told her. "How old are you Ruby?"

"I'm seven,"

"You must be really smart then because not many seven-year-olds would ask these types of questions,"

"Thank you," and with that Ruby was silent for the rest of the walk.

When we got to the Gaga pits Cassie called out, "Okay, everybody put your bags under the tree and sit down in a circle on the grass," Once everybody had done that and the group had quieted down Cassie spoke again. "Okay. We'll go around the circle and everybody will say their name, where they're from, and favorite color or ice cream flavor. I'll start. My name is Cassie, I'm from Massachusetts, and my favorite color is yellow," she turned to a little boy next to her and he began talking.

"My name's Jonah, I'm from Windham, and my favorite ice cream flavor is Cookie Monster," it continued like this for the rest of the circle and then it was my turn.

"I'm Louis, I'm from Doncaster, and my favorite ice cream flavor is Mint Chocolate Chip,"

"Alright let's play some Gaga ball!" Cassie exclaimed. "I'll explain the rules once I'm back with the ball," with that she got up and ran toward a tall building sitting on the edge of the water. The kids jumped up and ran over to a fenced in octagonal area that I assumed was the pit. Cassie quickly returned with a rubber ball held in her hands and an excited look on her face.

"Everybody in that wants to play?" All the campers nodded and Cassie continued. "Okay so how you play is once I throw the ball down no one can touch it until it bounces three times and you have to stay against the wall too or else you're out. After that anyone can touch it but not twice in a row or you're out also. If the ball hits you below the waist or you hit it out of the pit you're out. Got it?" Everyone nodded again. "Alright then, let's play!" She threw the ball down and the game began.

After a few rounds I was beginning to get the hang of it and I was surprisingly okay at it. I mean some of the campers were definitely better than me but I was having fun. We were on our fourth round and the ball suddenly bounced in my direction. I meant to hit it down but it somehow managed to fly over the fence and started rolling down the hill toward the water. "Oops. I'll go get that," I said hopping over the fence and running down to the dock.

When I got there I saw Harry sitting on the ground his hand pressed to his temple and the ball lying a few feet to his right. "Hi,"he said from his seated position.

"Oops. I'm sorry I didn't mean to hit you,"

"It's fine. Just took me by surprise is all," Harry said as he picked himself up off the ground. He handed me the ball and smiled. I stood there for a moment before I realized that I had a game to get back to.

"I should probably get back to the game," I said slowly. "It was nice seeing you Harry. Sorry for hitting you again,"

"Bye Louis," he gave me a smile as he walked backwards toward the dock. I know I had only known him Harry for less than a day but he already gave me butterflies in my stomach.
