jihoon believes that he's found a washed-up prince.
the being in front of him is so ethereal that he doubts that he is human at all. his pants are loose and soft, stripes running down the length of his legs. his button up is flowy and light, perfect for spring and summer heat.
it's not the clothes that enrapture jihoon, though.
his tan skin is only exaggerated by the sun; it looks like he's glowing, and if jihoon didn't know any better, he would say that he is. he wants to run his hand over the expanse of smooth, unblemished skin exposed to him, but he keeps such selfish thoughts to himself and simply sits at the furthest edge of the rock to watch the stranger sleep in awe.
subconsciously, jihoon realizes how creepy it is, but beyond wanting to bask in the boy's unearthly beauty, he wants to be sure that he is okay, that he really is only sleeping and hasn't passed out along the shore of the river. jihoon does not note any belongings of him laying around.
his face is peaceful as he sleeps, delicate lashes fanning underneath his eyes. as the minutes tick by, jihoon catches his lips quirk upwards in a smile. it registers as content, and he is assured that he is okay.
there's still mystery surrounding him, and jihoon wants to come closer to him. he shifts forward on the rock, but is immediately stopped when the boy rolls over, opening his eyes and sitting up with a yawn.
his dark hair flops back down to frame each side of his forehead, and jihoon feels his breath hitch as he blinks, reaching up and messing with the locks before his gaze focusses on jihoon's crouched form.
jihoon expects his voice to be deep considering his surprisingly large build, but he screams girlishly, bare feet pushing against the rock to send him backwards until his palms slap against the water.
"who are you?"
jihoon raises his hands to show that he means him no harm, speaking as gently as he can as if the boy is a skittish animal, "hey, hey, i'm not going to hurt you."
he ducks his head, looking up at jihoon with a frown, "what do you want?" he asks softly, seeming to give up immediately against him rather than pick a fight.
it bewilders jihoon who expected to be pounced as soon as he was spotted, but the stranger is more afraid of jihoon than jihoon is of him. he doesn't want anything from him at all.
"are you alright? i saw you laying here and thought that you were perhaps hurt..." a quick scan of his body reveals that he is not injured at all and that he was really taking a nap when jihoon approached. "you seem to be okay, though. do you live nearby?"
the boy sits up properly while remaining far away from jihoon, considering his surroundings, "what do you mean?" he asks softly. "this is my home."
