December 26, New York
It was quite a cold and snowy day, as thick snow piled up the pavement and road, much to the dismay of whoever was tasked to shovel the snow off the paths. Despite this, The sound of footsteps and merry chatter filled the icy air, punctuating the silence that had always nestled during winter. This place where we have arrived to has the familiar symbol of a globe with a wreath of laurel leaves around it adorned the entrance. We have arrived at one of the United Nation's headquarters, with its gleaming glass windows and the array of the flags of all countries being a very welcoming sight. We shall move straight inside amidst the people (or countries, rather) rapidly moving inside.
Recall if it was a day past December, because in that case, we see an elaborate Christmas tree set up in the entrance hall. The two coat rackets, which were usually ignored at any time of the day, set up at the hallway to the entrance hall, now piled with coats, gloves, hats, and the kind. You can't quite blame this unusual mess on the poor coat rackets, as today was a very cold day. As usual merry chatter filled the air, but in a warmer manner.
Despite this merriness, a group of people were dressed in dark colors. You will know later on as we move to another hall and behind a door. Inside was the most grand conference rooms you will ever see. Rows and rows of seats aligned in ascending order to the meters high ceiling, and at the center, there was a U-shaped table. However those are not important. What we shall focus now are two people, one of them was dressed in a much-more-darker-than-pine-green high-collared button up uniform, a peaked cap the same shade as his suit with the Chinese emblem pinned onto the center, pants and black boots, while the other merely wore a navy blue suit with cerulean pants and black boots (It's winter, and it's very cold. You can't blame everyone for choosing another footwear.), with a white peaked cap on his head, however, bearing the emblem of the United States.
"Can we not talk about him, especially here?" Said the latter, who, in a closer look, wore sunglasses despite the cold weather, and had the American flag on his face. I think you know who he is, but he is The United States of America. Or, you know, just America.
"I suppose I can't blame you. After all our relationship didn't end well," said the former, who had a black cough mask pulled down onto his chin in order to speak clearly and who had a Golden Star on his left eye, the other eye a normal dark brown. On his face were four smaller stars forming a semicircle around the star that was his eye. In short, his name was China.
China sighed, although it sounded like he was mocking exasperation, "but then as a friend, I have to pay my respects for whatever he has done for me during the mid-1900s."
"I see you are talking about my father," said a voice from behind.
Someone new arrived into the room, and ,maybe to your pleasure, we have finally explained one of the people dressed in dark colors, perhaps the most noticeable one of all.
He was tall. Very tall, and his black ushanka, pinned up, with the Russian emblem on it seem to emphasize the fact. He wore a dark silver-blue high-collar uniform, black pants and boots. This man may remind you uncomfortably of another, but worry not. Russia, unlike his father, had bluish gray eyes,a trait he also shared with his brother Ukraine.
(A/N: Aye you know what, I'm not good in describing things so just look in the picture above)
America greeted, "Oh hello, Russia. It seems like you prepared to attend your father's grave, isn't it?" Then he added in a more smaller voice, "even though you hate the Soviet Union."
"Oh, shut up, you. Besides," Russia turned to China, "have you paid your respects yet?"
At these words, China's face went a little redder. It was evident he hadn't forgotten the fact he had once had a crush on the Soviet Union. However he kept his composure, "I left some flowers there. I mean like I once told you all, our friendship didn't end well. You'll eventually see it-"
"Alright, you three, take your seats," said a high clear voice from behind, "Everyone else has done so."
Towering above even Russia, the United Nations stared at the three. They wore their usual white suit with a blue tie. There was a wreath of white (white?) laurel leaves and a halo similar to a globe above their head and they had wings.
"Alright now that everyone has quiet down and are ready to listen, we shall discuss what we have left off yesterday, as well as add some new topics regarding to our concern." They glanced at a female with a crimson kepi sitting on the first row.
The gathering went on smoothly, unlike some in the past that drove everyone into chaos. Within an hour or so, it had ended.
As countries filed out of the room to leave or to resume their work in merry chatter, Russia hurried quickly along with his siblings and many other countries.
Wait if it's for a funeral of a person he once hated so much, why was he in a hurry, you must be thinking.
Perhaps maybe he wanted to get this stupid funeral over with it, so that he will be able to resume doing his work.

(A/N: oh yeah by the way this indicates a time skip)The next day started with some heavy snowfall, and as everyone went into the headquarters, snow fell from their hats and coats and small amounts piled up at the entrance, messing up the rug and leaving more snow on the coat rackets and around the area, as people attempted to brush snow off their hats.
For those who have finished brushing snow off their bodies, they went straight to their respective offices with their bags (slightly covered in snow) to resume their work. Actually, not so much, as most people would go in and out of the hallways and into the offices of another just to fool around due to lack of work load they experience every winter.
There were no more people dressed in dark colors, as if preparing for a funeral, through the fact that Russia returned to wearing his blue-gray outfit that he usually did during winter.
However someone was not enjoying this fun

"America, China, Russia, France, Saudi, Spain, come with me.""Is this an urgent matter, Sir?"
As they walked behind UN, all the six could think of were Are we in trouble?. They walked behind UN in fearful silence, amidst the hallway, amidst everyone's questioning stares.
Finally they stopped in front of a little oak door that they recognized as the clinic.
America began, "Why are we in front of the clinic-" But was immediately cut off by UN.
"A murder."
