•Author's Inspiration for Writing:
Well the idea for setting my story in the victorian era came from a tv show called 'Turn Back Time' (it was a documentary where 3 families experienced life in different times and it focused on how family life had changed through each decade from 1900 - 2012). The actual plot (although it hasn't been revealed yet)... I really just came up with it myself! I've developed my writing style through reading various books and fanfictions, and I suppose 'The Hunger Games' has also proved inspirational in terms of the family living a ver poor, hard life.
Woops, got a little carried away there... Haha! :D

•Review:
The description is a bit confusing, but intriguing all at once. The cover is brilliant, portraying a sophisticated yet depressing atmosphere.
Even on the first page, it is obvious that this will be a wonderful story. The author writes with the fluidity of one who has been writing for ages, and nearly all the comments sing her praise (as do we)!
The scene she sets is a terribly depressing one, but it is unusual in that she writes in the present first person. That impressed us.
We fully recommend this lovely story to anyone looking for something with good substance to it.
