Chapter One: How did this whole thing happen?

Saiki Kusuo would like to think that he is a very normal person, thank you very much. However, that is not the case, that was never the case. You see, Saiki Kusuo was a psychic: he could levitate things, set them on fire, trade them, and so much more. Seems like a pretty good life, no? Basically a cheat code for the Sims embedded into one person, but to Saiki, it was a living nightmare. Most of these powers had drawbacks and don't ever get him started on telepathy. That was the one power he resented the most. You see, as a young child, he beat everyone in rock paper scissors and made it on the paper. It's also how he met her: (Y/N). Now that was a bad thing since the beginning: she knew about his powers because, well, how could anyone win at rock paper scissors more than 100 times on sheer luck alone? She confronted him about it, and what was he going to do, erase her memory? He knew how the last one went, he didn't want to do it again. The strange thing is that she didn't become fixated on his powers. She became more of an anchor when he would spiral, all without asking for anything in return. Her intentions were pure, as his telepathy let him know. So they became close, and in the words of (Y/N), friends. It had been that way since they were young, almost 11 years of being together. That all changed when they went to PK Academy though. Yeah, Saiki saw this coming with his powers, but he never expected it to be this bad.
