Saiki Kusuo has been your best friend since you were about 5-6 ish, and you have the absolute best time with him. You knew him inside and out, and he knew you. It was as if he could sense when something was wrong or as if you could hear him screaming in his head for help.

But one thing is for certain: you have fallen in love with your best friend. It was a gradual process that you didn't really notice until you were 12, but you have been in love with since you could remember. But by then about 5 years had passed and you knew you were dead in the friend zone. You were also glad Saiki had given you some sort of way to protect yourself from his everlasting telepathy. You had half the heart to believe that maybe, just maybe, he liked you back, but you chalked it up to being his childhood friend.

So when you were about to enter class but we're taken by the wrist by the aforementioned best friend, you really had to try not to blush for the 700th time.

"Ku? What's happening?"

Saiki dragged you to the outside the restrooms, not giving you an answer until the coast was clear.

I made a snake appear in the class, I wouldn't want you to go near it.

"Well, why'd ya do that? Isn't everyone else going to start screaming?"

They were making fun of Kaidō when half of them do the same stuff he does just at home. Okay, the snake is gone and we can head back.

"Wait, what did you do to the snake?"

Zapped it out with lightning at Kaidō's command.

You smiled softly at the boy, who was still holding on to your wrist.

"Awww! Ku! You're such a big softie! You like Kaidō!"

Stop that. People will get the wrong idea. Is this the thanks I get for doing something nice? Good grief.

"Oh shut up you big tsundere."

I am not or never will be. I just don't want people to be annoying and tease Kaidō, that's going to give me a headache.

"Whatever you say, Ku. Hey, maybe if we ask nicely he can hang out with you, Nendo and I!"

Not happening. I don't need another nuisance following me around.

"Yeah sure, yet you're the biggest nuisance for still dragging me around."

Saiki stopped dead in his tracks, looking at your wrist he had held. He almost wanted to slap himself, now people would get the wrong idea and draw more attention to himself. He let go of your hand and walked back into his class, with you following close behind, laughing loudly at his unintentional mishap.

He sat down in his seat and looked at his hand. What was he doing? How could he mess up like that? And why was her laugh still ringing in his ear? She must have gotten more annoying, yup that's probably it. But...

...What is this feeling?
