She was incredible. The second he gave the command his men jumped from their hiding spots and circled her, blocking any exit from the clearing possible. She didn't move a muscle even when the young pack member under her yelled out in fright, James didn't know why the men of his pack had circled around them and he also had never seen their wolf forms in fighting mode. The rogue kept her head down and seemed to softle purr towards the young child she was trying to protect in order to calm him down. Alpha Pearce knew his men were waiting on his command now that they had successfully surprised her and prevented her escape, but he was so mesmerized by her wolf that he was having trouble focusing.

The wolf inside him was roaring as it looked upon the mate that the Moon Goddess had blessed him with; she was magnificent, her muscles toned and fur gleaming in the light. It was almost hard to believe that she was a rogue because of how healthy she was. Most rogues were smaller and their fur matted down from lack of food and self care, and this rogue looked nothing of the sort. He felt himself growl as he realized that someone had to have been helping her in order for her to be so healthy as a rogue, and he was displeased at the thought of another providing for his mate. Who had helped this rogue? Rogues were not known for helping one another due to the need and fight for survival, but that would only leave someone in the packs. There couldn't be a pack member that stupid, a wolf who assisted the rogue that all of the Alphas and packs had been hunting down for half a decade? The thought was incredulous.

"Alpha, what do you want us to do?" Chase's message through the mind-link was able to help him stray away from his mind and focus back to the task at hand, catching his mate. He looked at her and knew that she could sense that there was an Alpha lurking in the shadows, he reeked of power and dominance. She was still keeping her head down so he couldn't see her eyes, but he saw her head tilt as she tried to think of a plan to get out of her situation. Alpha Pearce saw her look back down at the child, and then adjust her stance again as she made sure James was perfectly under her protection.

"Just like we planned men, are you all ready?" he commanded through the mind-link watching all of his warriors nod their heads in the slightest amount towards his direction. He said a quick prayer to the Moon Goddess and then gave the order, "get your Luna!"

His men were flawless, but so was she. As soon as they jumped into action she sprung back, grabbing the child with her mouth and placing him behind her. She let out a warning so fierce that he could feel the slightest hesitation from his men before they went for her. Two of the Detas leaped for her, one crying out as she swiped her claws across his stomach while the other was able to knock her off balance. Chase dove for the one paw that was starting to bend as she tried to gain her balance and growled in frustration when she was able to sense his attack and sidestep him. The two Deltas came back for another joint effort with their Beta, one staying with Chase in the front and the other trying to sneak around her. He was almost behind her before her tail lashed out and surprised him, letting her pounce on him while he was caught off guard. Chase quickly intervened and came in between them, but she was still able to bite a small chunk of flesh off of the Delta before he was able to. The rogue stumbled backwards in surprise as Jackson burst out of the shadows, letting the other two Deltas and Chase get a small reprieve as he started to circle his Luna.

Alpha Pearce could sense Jackson's hesitation of hurting his future Luna, and realized that so could she but before he could give the Delta a warning she attacked. She lashed out with her claws, causing the Delta to stumble back and while he tried to regain his balance she dove into his side and was ready to make a killing blow before Chase tried to tackle her. She yelped out in pain when Chase's weight caused her body to fly into the trunk of a tree, but she was fast in getting back up into her fighting stance. His Beta and the three Deltas started to circle around her again, the smell of the blood of the wolves leaving a metallic taste in his mouth. They all were taking turns trying to strike out, but she was able to maneuver her wolf around them and stay out of their reach. She was trying to find a way out of the circle the wolves had formed around her, but they were too good. This was not their first time encircling a rogue, and the practice obviously paid off.

James made a sudden noise as he stood up to back further away from the fight, surprising the rogue by his quick movement. Chase immediately took the chance to attempt to dive onto her again, but she evaded his tactic and took the opportunity to run through the hole his actions had created in the circle. As she was almost out of the clearing, Jackson made a quick move and side tackled her to the ground. She growled in anger at the surprise attack, and seemingly effortlessly flipped them over so she could aim for the throat of her attacker. Right when she was about to take the killing bite to his exposed throat, his son cried out for her to stop. James ran to them and jumped onto the rogue, trying to get her off his father.

"Don't kill my daddy!" James's fearful little voice screamed out, jumping onto the wolf without any fear for his own safety. The rogue was surprised and couldn't hurt the boy so she accepted the momentum of the little boy and fell off of Jackson so that James could fall on the softest fur of her stomach. Just like the young boy's Alpha had hoped. As soon as she was on her back for the young boy, he leapt from the shadows and took her exposed throat into his jaws. He felt her still as she realized the vulnerable position she was in and knew that she could die in seconds if he chose to bite down.

"Grab the ropes!" he yelled to Chase through the mind-link, making sure not to move and keeping his mate defenseless. He saw his Beta quickly shift back to his human form and grab the ropes that they had hidden behind one of the trees by the clearing. He growled a warning towards his feisty mate as she tried to struggle out of his grip, and he felt the wolf inside of his mind roar once it realized that she was refusing to submit to him. He watched his Deltas shift as well, Jackson going to grab his son and the other two warriors running to help Chase. They ran back to him and helped him hold the rogue down while Chase started tying the ropes around her legs, binding her paws together. Once his mate's paws had been tied together he shifted as well, using his hands to grab her head and lift it towards his direction.

He was momentarily caught off guard when she tried to bite him and he quickly used his hands to muzzle her while motioning the men to use more rope to make a muzzle. He growled in warning again when she tried to bite Chase as he muzzled her, but the growl died in his throat once he saw her eyes. The eyes of defiance stared back at him, glowing perfectly white. The rogue had pure white eyes. "Are you seeing what I'm seeing?" Jackson finally spoke after all the men had frozen in shock once they finally saw her eyes.

"I've never heard of a wolf with white eyes," Chase was able to mumble as they all continued to stare at their Luna, "what does this mean?" he asked. The wolves were finally snapped out of their trance when the rogue started to struggle against the ropes, taking advantage of their surprised frozen state. Quickly Alpha Pearce jumped back onto her and held her down as he motioned for Theo to grab the tranquilizer they had brought just in case. Theo was a Delta but also had a passion for medicine and had studied under the pack doctors during his free time, making him an incredibly valuable Delta. With his medical knowledge and experience he knew quick combat medicine as well as the perfect spots on a wolf to administer a needle to make them sleep. His mate started resisting again when she saw the needle in the Delta's hands as he made his was towards them.

"Alpha I need you to keep her still." Theo warned, clearly unhappy that he was about to drug his Luna but understanding the need to get her back to the pack house. There was no doubt that this was the easiest way, and he knew it was his duty to the pack. He limped his way towards her, grimacing as he realized she got him better than he had thought when she bit him, and knelt down next to her. Her growl of warning caused him to pause momentarily, but then he slipped the needle into the folds of her neck and watched the drugs take effect. Her glowing white eyes stared at him with distaste as they started to close. "How are we going to get her back to the pack house?" Chase asked, looking down at his future Luna still in awe of her fighting capabilities and glowing white eyes.

"Theo why don't you run back to the pack house and grab an SUV and we will meet you on the trail at the end of the forest." Their Alpha replied quietly as he brushed his hand against his mate's fur. The men all nodded quickly and Theo took off, while Chase helped Alpha Pearce lift the rogue into his arms and start walking towards their destination.

"Well shit man, we finally have a Luna!" Jackson exclaimed slapping his friend on the back before his eyes grew wide when his son asked him what "shit" meant. The rest of the men chuckled while the Delta's face paled as he asked his son to never repeat that word to his mommy. "And you finally have your mate!" Chase added, still laughing at Jackson's plight. The men were too focused on making fun of the father too see their Luna's eyes snap open in shock at the revelation, before closing again due to the influence of the drugs in her system.
