Shikamaru's Pov

As I walk home, I have to process everything properly. Apparently, that wasn't going to happen.

"Yo," I stop to face the brunette reaper behind me. "How are you doing?" He asks.

"Takashi, right?" I ask in a laid back tone. "I..."

"Indeed~" He chuckles. "I need to have a word with you~"

~Timeskip: Night~

Y/n's Pov

I hop up in a tree, looking up at the night sky with a soft smile gracing my lips. It's good to finally be back... I've really missed everyone. Talking to Shika really helped me relax a bit for sure...

"I wonder how everyone back in that world is doing? Not that I particularly knew anyone..." I mutter. "But I wonder what's going on in that world..." I muse. I let out a soft hum. When's the last time I just sat back and had a relaxing night like this? Was it with Gaara? Was it more recent? I let out a heavy sigh.

"What's on your mind?" I look down to find my brother there.

"Oh," I smile lightly at him. "It's nothing much. I just wonder what... everyone is up to now you know..."

"Back in our world?"

"Well, no." I say and he tilts his head and I smile. "It's not our world anymore. This is." He smiles lightly and nods.

"Indeed it is." Naozumi agrees with a smile. "Anything else on your mind?"

"Why you're so calm?" I question and he chuckles.

"You're back in one piece," he says. "That's good enough for me if you're alright."

"Well-"

"Unless it has to do with dating or boys." He says, a playful yet dangerous light in his eyes.

"Yikes, got it big bro. I'm not really interested in dating anyways!" I say with a small laugh and he sighs. "What? What'd I do?"

"Oh it's nothing~" He hums with a smile.

"You're scary." I state and he sweatdrops.

"What'd I do?"

"You've got a threatening big bro light in your eyes." I say, hopping down to stand by him. "What're you doing out here, anyways?"

"I was just taking a walk when I noticed my sister oh so casually sitting in a tree." He says. "I wanted to make sure you didn't fall asleep out here by accident or something."

"Oh, thanks," I say with a smile.

"You seem... easier going?" He says curiously. "What happened between when you got home and now?"

"Oh, I got to vent to a friend of mine." I say with a smile. "Keeping everything bottled up inside of me was a bit... yikes."

"Oh wow, couldn't have told you that," he says, a light and playful sarcasm laced in his words. He gives me that sheepish side smile and glances at me. "Well, I'm glad you're doing better then...."

"Don't do it. I know you're going to but-"

"Was it a boy?" I sigh and shake my head.

"Yes, my hand. Please meet Senior Handslick~" I say, making a childish hand puppet and holding it up for him to see. He rolls his eyes and gently whacks my head.

"Why don't we have a party for you?" He asks and I raise an eyebrow.

"Why's that?"

"We were all worried about you, just to have you back~" he says with a smile. "And to give us all a little break from this chaos."
