Chapter 5

Tal's pov
I walk upstairs to get Adi and Nick. We're gonna play a hide and seek challenge for Free Time. I find them sitting on Nick's bed watching tv. "Get up! We're making a video."

Adi groans, "What're we doing?"

"Hide and seek for $10,000."

"Sounds fun." Nick said getting up. "C'mon get up Di."

"Fine." He groans and stands up. Nick is just staring at Adi with a smile.

"Well hurry up. I'll be downstairs." I say leaving the room. Once everyone is downstairs I start the video. I'll be counting while Adi, Nick, Caylus, Jojo and Anthony. I start recording, "Hey! What's up you guys. It's Free Time and today we are doing the last to be found wins $10,000 challenge. I'm here with Nick. Adi. Caylus. Jojo. And Anthony. Check out our instas. Bam,bam,bam,bam,bam,bam!" I say pointing to the air. I just put in the tags in editing. "So I'll count for one minute while everyone else hides. They can hide anywhere. In the house, backyard, the studio. Go hide! One..two.."

Nick's pov
Adi and I run off. "Stop following me! You'll blow my cover." Adi tells me, jokingly.

"I'm going to hide in the closet in the garage."

"No! I was gonna hide there."

"Too bad so sad." Adi say running off. I follow him. We ended up hiding in the closet together. Trying to keep quiet but we keep laughing. The closet is small so we're close together. On pure impulse I leaned in and kissed him. He seemed shocked so I pulled away. "I'm sorry." I said then ran out, passing Tal. I walk outside and sit on the curb in front of the house. Possibly rethinking my life but also how soft Adi's lips were.

Adi's pov
I see Nick looking at me. I stare back. He leans in and I feel his lips on mine. I'm so shocked I don't know what to do. He pulls away kinda quick, "I'm sorry!" He yells before running out. A second later Tal finds me.

"What happened? Nick ran out." He questions still holding the camera. I stopped recording mine when he kissed me.

"Nick kissed me."

"What?!" He asked turning the camera off. "What'd you do? Why'd he run?"

"I was shocked and didn't kiss back so he ran out."

"Are you stupid?! He probably feels terrible now. Don't you like him?"

"Of course he's my best friend." Tal gives me a look. "Yeah. I do. A lot actually."

"Then why are you sitting here feeling sorry for yourself?"

"Because Tal! I just got out of a relationship. He's my best friend. I probably hurt him now and I like him a lot. So much Tal." I whisper the last part.

He smiles at me, "I know that. I knew you liked him. I also know he likes you. A lot. So why don't you go see where he went. I think he's in the front."

"Ok. Thanks." I say standing up. He gives my shoulder a squeeze and I go to the front yard. I see him sitting on the curb and I go sit next to him.

He looks up at me, "I'm sorry. I know you don't like me like that! I really am sorry. You should just go back and play the game. I understand if you don't want to be my friend-" He rants which is adorable. I try to get a word in but he's talking too fast. So I just pull him towards me and connected our lips. With barley a moment of hesitation he kisses me back. I cup his face pulling him closer. After about a minute we pull apart to breathe.

"I would never stop being your friend because I like you too. A lot." I tell him still holding. He smiles and kisses me again. I pull away and he looks at me confused. "Nick Mayorga do you want to be my boyfriend?"

He grins and nods, "Hell yes!" He kisses me again. Best day ever.
