'What is that?'
Van asked to himself while looking at the big crystal. Kumikinang ito. And it is bright like a daylight. Dinala siya ni Dawn sa tagong lugar, sa isang napakagandang kweba. He can't help but to be amaze. This place is so beautiful and enchanting. Kumikinang ang bawat sulok ng kweba. Napakaganda sa mga mata. Parang mga bituwin sa kalangitan. Pero ang nakakuha sa pansin nito ay ang malaking kristal sa harapan nito. Wala siyang nakita na gaya ng ganito buong buhay niya. Nakikita nito ang kaniyang repleksyon.
"I have something to tell you"
Humarap si Van kay Dawn ng magsalita ito. Napaka seryoso ng mukha ng babae.
"I need your help"
"What makes you think i will help you?"
"You came in this curse fortress.. and saved me. You did risk your life without knowing what is ahead of you"
“So you trust me? What if all this.. is just a lie? Na isang palabas lamang?”-napailing si Van “You can't trust stranger that you just met Dawn”
Napanguso si dawn at naglaho ang seryosong mukha nito ng makita ang titig sa kaniya ng lalaki. She feels chills through her veins.
"Oh come on i know you can help me.. Even though i don't know where you came from, what is your identity, the reason why you're here kahit na may bahay ka naman and how you saved me that day. But wait-- paano nga ba?"

"Can't you say something?"

Tinawid ni dawn ang pagitan nila at nilapit ang mukha sa mukha ng lalaki.
"Sekretong malupit ba?"
Bulong nito. Namula ang tenga ni Van na hindi naman napansin ni Dawn dahil sa mata niya lang ito nakatitig. Mas lalong humaba ang nguso ni Dawn ng walang makuhang sagot. At saka napakaganda ng mga mata nito! Nakakainggit! She wants those eyes too! It's like a milky way. So beautiful.
"I want to know it too!"
"I also want your eyes!"
Mahinang tinulak ni Van si Dawn at umiwas ng tingin. Hindi maiwasan ang pagkailang sa lapit nito sa kaniya. Lalaki pa din siya!
"What is your problem?"- inamoy ni Dawn ang sarili "Hindi naman ako mabaho. Hoy araw-araw kaya ako naliligo noh!"
Tumikhim ang lalaki at pilit pinapaseryoso ang sarili. Hindi makalimutan ang magandang mukha ng babae at ang mabangong halimuyak nito.
"W-hat do you need?"

'Malamang! Magtatanong ba ko kung hindi?'

'He's scary! Take note not make him angry'- isip-isip ng babae.
"You are the first person who will know about this. I trust you so.. just keep it a secret. I know you will, (rolled her eyes) dahil madamot ka"

Huminga ng malalim ang babae. Bakas ang lungkot at pagkamuhi sa mga mata nito.
"They are... gone"
Nanigas ang katawan ni Van. Kahit na alam niya na malaki ang posibilidad na ganon nga ang nangyari, pero iba parin nung ang babae ang nagsabi.

Huminga ng malalim si Dawn.
"I do have a favor to ask"
Tuluyang napaluhod si Dawn at napahagulhol. Kanina pa nanginginig ang kaniyang tuhod at hindi maiwasan manghina. Kahit masakit, para sa kapatid niya kaya niyang gawin ang lahat.
"I want you to take Amber away from me"
Nagulat si Van sa narinig. Ramdam nito ang pighati na nararamdaman ng dalaga. Kung kaya niya lang pawiin ito ay gagawin niya. Pero ang lubos na ipinagtataka niya ay ang dahilan kung bakit pinapalayo niya ang kapatid nito.
If this girl and his sister is mage.. And if that's the reason why they want to kill them. Why he doesn't know about it? He started to doubt himself and the people around him. May hindi ba sinasabi ang mga taong yon?
"T-hey have found me"
Napatakip ang kamay ng babae sa mukha nito at humagulhol.

Niyakap ni Van ang umiiyak na dalaga. He doesn't know what to do and what to say. This is his first time encountering this kind of event. Maski ang sarili niya ay nagulat sa ginawa niyang pagyakap sa babae. It feels like he is a different person. It's not him.
Kung nagawa nilang makatakas noon, he's sure they can do it again. Even though he do not know everything.. He can still feel the rage inside him.
"I will not do as you please"
Mas lalong lumakas ang iyak ng dalaga. Kinalas ang pagkakayap sa kaniya ni Van at lumuhod sa harapan nito. Nagmamakaawa. Tumaas ang tingin ni Dawn sa kaniya. Puno ng luha ang buong mukha nito.
Napahawak sa dibdib ang binata. Hindi niya maintindihan kung bakit nasasaktan siya sa nakikita.
Everyone thought that he's heart is cold and no emotion but in the reality he was really not. Just now, looking at the woman in front of him crying wants his heart burst out of his chest. It feels like his mind and heart is burning.
"I swear! They won't find out about Amber. They wont look for you"
Pumantay ang binata at lumuhod sa harap ni Dawn. Hindi makayanan ang nakikita. Awtomatikong gumalaw ang kamay niya at pinahid ang luha nito. Napatingin sa gulat ang dalaga. Napakabilis ang tibok ng puso nito. She didn't expected it!
But the guy makes decision and decided...
"You said you are something we should run away from but no one is going anywhere. You told me that amber has only you.. don't be stupid she needs you more than anyone. I can't promise you that tomorrow will be perfect or life will go as you like. Stop your foolishness, for trying to give up. But i can promise that i will stay. I'll willingly be your protector, your friend, your advise, your everything, i promise that"
Huminto ang oras ng dalaga. Nakatitig ito kay Van at hindi makapaniwala sa narinig. He's ready to risk his life for them? But that's impossible. Kailan lang sila nagkakilala.. Napaka sensiro ng pananalita nito. Wala siyang makitang bakas ng biro o kasinungalingan..
"W-hy? Why are you ready to risk your life for us?"
