Vic POV:

I was glad to see that the tablets had worked. If they didn't, then Kellin might have a relapse. I kissed him gently on the forehead before leaving my room. Kellin was standing there awkwardly for a few minutes.

In the last year, he had gotten both better and worse. He had stopped hurting himself completely. But it didn't appear that his appetite had ever gone away as he'd said it did. The first time he drank from me, it was month as before he asked for more, but then he did. I wasn't opposed to it, but the second drink turned into the third, and then the fourth. The last five days in a row he's asked for some every day. So far, it's been two hundred and twenty seven times that he'd drank from me.

And I've only known him for four hundred and twenty seven days.

I walked downstairs to brew myself a cup of coffee. It had become a morning ritual for me to have a cup of coffee. Kellin didn't have a taste for it either way, making the claim that it wasn't anything special. So there was always more for me, except when he was really, really tired. Which wasn't particularly often, as he was accustomed to very little sleep in the first place. It was concerning, but I tried not to let it get to me. I drummed my fingers on the counter lightly. After staying in with Kellin all of the time, I'd started to look paler. I just wasn't going out as much. I gently brushed my fingers against one of the bite marks, wondering what would happen if I was a vampire.

My career would be over for starters, but maybe it wouldn't be so bad. As Kellin had said, most concerts were at night and inside anyway. Kellin came down the stairs singing a song to himself. He stopped when he saw me staring. For some reason, he still didn't like me hearing his unreleased singing. Crazy considering that he literally sang completely off hand when we were first practicing King for a Day.

"Was that Fashionably Late? " I asked, wanting to make light conversation. Kellin nodded in response. "Well you're a bit fashionably late yourself. But don't worry; I haven't been making out with your friends." Kellin was now close enough to me that he could press me into the wall behind me by just reaching out his arm a little bit.

"Good. I'm a better kisser anyways, " He whispered, leaning in dangerously close. But it was teasing. He was so close, yet he wasn't close enough. Just close the distance already. I did the deed for him, kissing him intensly. He ran his fingers down to my thighs, lifting me off the ground. I felt rather spoiled in that moment. He started leading me over to the couch, but I made the task as difficult for him as possible, making the kisses increasingly more demanding. When we were almost there, I grabbed at his hair a little bit, making him slip and fall onto the couch. I broke the last kiss to move over to his ear, which I'd recently discovered was one of his weakest spots. I bit lightly on the tip of his ear, and he gasped, making that needy face at me. "I hate it when you do that, " He mumbled.

I moved on to make a love mark on his neck. "But you love it when I do this, " I gave the skin as much attention as it would take to make the mark, as Kellin through his head back and tried to resist making any noise.

"Honestly you two, get a room. Nobody wants to see that, " Mike's voice chimed in from over the couch. I sat up with Kellin, but he pulled me onto his lap before I could argue against it. "Was wondering why you wouldn't answer the door. " I could feel Kellin's fangs touching the back of my neck lightly. He was around the couch by now, and he could clearly see Kellin unhook his arms from being around my waist. He slid them under my shirt and began running them all over my torso.

"Are you even listening to me? " Mike asked suddenly. Had he been talking the entire time.

"I'm sorry. What were you saying? " I put my hands over Kellin's to stop them from moving.

"So there is a way that Kellin can come on tour. " Both of us perked up at the sound of it.

"What is it? " Kellin asked excitedly.

"He's not going, " I said with finality in my voice.

"Well if he could sing his part on the song, that would give him an excuse to tag along. But if you don't want him to join us, then never mind. "

I could feel Kellin pouting behind me. He had loosened his hands from my grip and begun to caress me again.

Mike began to look around the room, trying to avoid making eye contact with me. I didn't blame him. Kellin wasn't usually this touchy feely. "Kells? " I whispered.

Kellin didn't respond.

"Can you wait until later to do that, please?" I went on. I know that he'd heard me.

Kellin stopped, looping his arms around my waist again.

"Vic? Have you noticed the amount of people listening to us now? After you did that song with All Time Low. We should've done something like that years ago, " Mike said, changing the subject.

"All Time Low? " Kellin asked. "As in Alex Gaskarth All Time Low?"

I nodded. "Do you know him? "

"Of course I know him. He's a vampire. But he's a rare breed that doesn't burn in the sunlight. Legend has it that it's the one trait that Ben can't recreate. And only one other vampire in all of history has ever been able to walk out into the sunlight without getting burned. Alex is a living legend. And he's an awesome guy too. Everyone loves him. "

I tried to hide my surprise. How many other vampires were living among us without our knowledge?
