Kellin POV:

It was a race against the clock. I drove back to the house as fast as I possibly could, running about three red lights. When I pulled into the driveway, I saw Ben walking up to the front door.

"Ben! You came through! Thank God! " I shouted, running up to him.

"Yeah well, I owe you one. Anyway, those rose petals that you wanted, all three baskets of them, are in my car. I'll go get 'em for you. Where do you want them?"

"Just in the backseat is fine." I had left the car doors unlocked so he was fine. I ran into the house and grabbed my guitar. I looked at it closely. Vic's guitar. He must've switched them before he left. If he liked my old guitar all that much, he could have it.

I ran back out to the car, jumping in the driver's seat. Ben had just finished putting in the last basket of rose petals, and he shut the back door. "Thanks for everything, Ben. "

"Yeah well, you go and make Vic happy. He deserves it. "

I nodded. Right, Vic totally deserved this, so much more than he deserved me taking out my self-hatred on him.

"Wait, one more thing. What's with the crown? " Ben asked before I could put the car in drive.

"Oh, it's from the show. I'll take it off when I get there."

And then I drove off, speeding to the hotel that I'd been told they'd been staying at. Everything had been arranged perfectly. If all went well, I had a room for myself and, hopefully, Vic checked out. If anything went really badly, I had a room for myself checked out...

I saw that Pierce the Veil was already there. Sweet. Jaime shot me a text.

Jaime: you'd better hurry. Vic is getting restless to see you, especially bc you weren't at the meet and greet.

Me: ik. I'm hurrying.

I took off the crown and got out of the car, taking one of the baskets of petals and dumping the whole thing on the back seat. I took the other two with me. I put the guitar against the car door opposite of me, and the crown on the seat closest to me. I closed the door, took the other two baskets, and started trailing petals from the car door to the hotel door. I trailed them through the lobby, earning rude states. I hoped that no one ruined them. Thank god the room they were staying in was on the first floor. I trailed the petals to the door. I still had a ton left over, so I doubled the layer all the way back to the car. I got in the back, careful not to mess up the petals before sitting down next to the guitar. I shot Jaime a text, telling him that Vic was clear to come.

Vic POV:

"Hime, I think you've made it your life's goal to keep me away from Kellin. We're fine now. He isn't hurting me anymore. Can I please go to see my boyfriend?" I pleaded. For the last ten minutes since we've arrived, everyone, especially Jaime, has been trying to keep me in the hotel room.

Jaime looked at his phone, which had just went off with a notification. "Yeah I guess you're right. Go and see him. "

All eyes watched me expectantly. They clearly knew something that I didn't. When I opened the door, there was a trail of rose petals leading out through the lobby. Oh Kellin, you've really outdone yourself.

I followed them out to his car, which I opened the door to find my most favorite person in the whole world sitting next to an acoustic guitar on a backseat covered in rose petals, holding a crown in his hands. "Vic, you should be the one living like a king someday, " He said, putting the crown on my head. "At least, you're a king to me." He said, blushing darkly. This was so adorable and cheesy I couldn't stand it. I walked in and sat across from him, closing the door behind me.
