Nyssa walked up to where I was tied and bent forward until her face was face level with mine, her eyes burning with hatred but a fake smile on her face. "I can't tell you how long I've yearned for this moment when all of us could finally unite." Her thickly accented voice ran through my ears and I flared my nostrils in anger, trying to break free from my restraints.

"Your fight is with me. You didn't have to involve him." I glared at her and then turned my head sharply towards Jason who was looking at us with a frightened and confused expression on his face.

"Oh honey, I would never have gotten to you if it wasn't for this precious little boy. Look how big he has gotten now. I remember him being such a tiny little blob of flesh, it hurts my heart." She dramatically wiped off a fake tear from her eye and glanced at Jason with a snake charmer's smile.

"We should have killed you Nyssa. You deserve to rot in hell with your father."

"Hah!" She scoffed suddenly and with a fast motion, she had grabbed my hair and pulled back my head with a jerk, making me wince as he glared into my eyes. "I have a surprise for you."

"Another one?" I said, my words dripping with sarcasm.

"Oh, as sweet as always with your words I see." She smiled and stopped for a second, before continuing, "Well, you see,  I am living the best life like my father is, right now."I looked at her with a frown on my face. Looking at my quizzical expression, she said, "Well, he sends his regards, he will pay you a visit soon." As soon as she said this, the man who was sitting in one of the chairs with a sack on his face started making flustered sounds and struggled to break free from his restraints, making both Jason and I to sharply turn our heads towards him.

Nyssa motioned towards Harley with her index finger and Harley nodded briefly before roughly yanking the sack off his head and took off the cloth that was stuffed into his mouth.

My eyes widened.

"Bruce?!" I asked.

For a minute, he kept staring at me with a confused look on his face but he probably did the mathematics and figured out who I was. But it wasn't me that he was concerned about. The first words that came out of his mouth were, "Ra's Al Ghul is alive?!"

"Yep." She said in a most casual way , popping out the p.

"How is that possible? Barbara killed her with that dagger."

"Bruce -" I sharply turned towards him, my expressions salty. "It doesn't matter alright? The logistics, how, what , when. It doesn't matter. All I care about right now is what she wants from us. Why are we here?"

"Nice, atleast someone here wants to talk about business." She placed her cold palm on my cheek and stroked it softly. "Well, I want many things, all of Gotham City's riches, weaponry, bombs, but what I want the most is revenge from all of you . And it starts with the two of you, Bruce Wayne and Ruby Day."

"You have to let Jason go." I said, firmly.

"I cant. Ra's Al Ghul needs him." She said, shrugging her shoulders slightly.

I pursed my lips tightly together and suppressed a growl forming inside my throat. "I won't let you harm my son, Nyssa. You failed once and you will fail again."

"Keep dreaming, Ruby. How will anyone find us here? The only person who knows the way to the Batcave now is the proper butler but he is here too, Five?" She ended her words with a clap and then Five vanished through a small opening in the wall until he was dragging out a seemingly drugged Alfred Pennyworth and pushed him to the ground."

"No! Alfred!" Bruce screamed and I could see his vein almost pop out on his eyebrow underneath the layers of facial hair that had grown on his face.
