Leo
~~~~
Leo sighed. He had only just came back from the dead. Couldn't he at least have a week of peace before he returned to his friends?
Leo awoke to his peaceful surroundings, the waves gently crashing upon the sandy beach and calypso snoring softly as she slept against his shoulder. But leo couldn't enjoy it, he was on alert for any strange noises. He thought about waking up calypso but that was a bad idea. Even though she was his girlfriend now, she still would go mad if he ever woke her.
Leo decided to wait and keep watch.
It had been barely 5 minutes when he heard the first noise. It was probably his mind being paranoid, after having that dream. He shrugged it off and continued to mess with a random machine he was creating.
The next time he heard a rustling sound in the bushes behind him. He couldn't see the bushes because festus was in the way, as they were leaning against his warm body. Ignoring the sound, he continued with whatever he was making.
The rustle was louder this time and his curiosity won out. Gently placing calypso head against festus he stood up to investigate the trees.
After a few minutes of searching he decided to give up and say that it was probably an animal. When he turned around he detected machinery. He could do this quite easily, being a son of Hephaestus. His senses told him that it was a net trap, the simple kind and one without a weight trigger. Meaning that any animal could come across it and be trapped.
Leo started to worry. If this trap was here it and he had just had that dream...
He sprinted back to Calypso. How could he of been so stupid?
As he appeared on the beach he saw festus lay sleeping. He couldn't see calypso as she was the other side of him.
Leo ran around and found an empty blanket. Calypso was gone.
"No no no no!"he muttered. He desperately looked around, hoping to find her on the beach. But he was unsuccessful. Calypso wasn't there. The person was who sent the dream had probably taken her. Leo woke up festus and climbed on his back.
"Come on festus, calypso has been taken and we need to find her! They can't of gone far!" Leo said.
Festus creaked in understanding a took off quickly. Soon they where circling the forest, looking for any signs of where she might of gone.
After a few minutes of desperate searching, leo spotted something.
"Down there festus, keep us hidden" he whispered to his bronze dragon. Festus flew silently lower so leo could get a better look.
He spotted two humans dragging another person with them. That must be calypso!
"There festus!" He whispered, "follow them". Festus glided silently for such a large creature. Well that was his intensions as he built him in the Argo II. He still felt guilty for not telling his friends of his plans. He felt even worse at the thought of them thinking he was dead. But as soon as he rescued calypso they would be straight to camp half-blood where they would be safe.
Calypso captors seamed to have reached a small wooden building. They entered it and leo watched calypso struggle. Even from this distance he could see one of the people hit her before they dragged her inside. Leo felt a surge of anger. How dare they hit calypso!
"Down festus" leo said, "we need to get in there" festus landed a few meters from the building, making sure he was not seen.
"You stay here festus and I will call you if I need you" he told festus who the creaked back.
"Don't worry boy, I have my whistle" said leo as he showed him the safety whistle.
Leo left festus and crept towards the wooden building.
Leo approached the hut and tried to keep as quite as possible. He didn't really know what to expect. The past events have been a bit confusing. He still didn't know who had take calypso or who sent the dream. But judging by the voice he suspected that they were quite young, maybe his age or older.
Leo's plan was to run into the hut and improvise, which he wasn't great at. His mind wasn't working properly, as he was just focusing on calypso. He couldn't loose her again, not after he had just rescued her from her island.
Leo slammed open the door and peered around the dark room. Suddenly his head collided with something hard and metal. Falling to the floor in shock and pain, leo just had enough time to take a look at the person standing above him, a teenager around his age with dark hair, before his vision turned black.
