It's been three weeks since my tape got leaked. One day since I met Trevor, and found out my mom was close to dying. Watching Trevor from my window, but more importantly thinking of my demon. Oh the beautiful lovely demon I'm trapped in.
I still haven't heard from Sarah and I'm not really mad because that kiss just didn't feel right. I get off my bay window and go outside to Trevor's house.
"Oh hey you," he says.
"So remember how I broke your mom's plates yesterday, well let me rephrase. You broke your mom's plates," I laugh. He nods doing the same.
"I um bought new ones for her so if you want to come buy later they should be delivered in an hour and Josh will take it in so just come by my house," I smile.
"Sounds good doofus," he laughs.
"Out of curosity, why'd you move here?" I ask him.
"Well it was mainly my idea, but when we moved here I found my mom a good job. There's just something I need to take care of then I'll be out of here," he tells me.
"Ooo love the mystique, what's that Trevor?"
"Nothing that concerns you... are you Kio's girl?" he dozes off.
"Uh it's complicated, but how'd you know?" I ask.
"Your necklace," he says nodding towards my neck. I forgot I put it on.
"You know Kio?" I ask crossing my arms.
"Who doesn't? He has his own dirty little secrets, I'd kill him for it," he says with ununderstandable tone, I furrow my brows looking to investigate more.
"Okayy, how did you know about the necklace?"
"I know a lot about Kio, let's just say he's the reason I'm here. Emma, wha-what do you know about the book? He asks curiously.
"It's a group of boys who compete for money, there's three colums all having different activities and you earn a cash prize. In the end they end up getting their video on a site," I say.
"Hm, you've got most of the story but that's not all of it," he chuckles lightly.
"So are you gonna tell me or not Trevor?"
"You really don't know anything huh, you're in for a rude awakening fun size," he laughs. Why must he call me that?
I look behind Trevor to see Anne coming out with her hand over her forehead, shading her eyes. She squints till she sees me and smiles.
"Oh hi dear!" Anne waves.
"Hi!"
"Trevor I need some help out back, would ya?" she asks. He nods not taking his eyes off me. I admit there's something about him the intrigues me. His mysterious upcoming and those charming looks.
"See you around," he tells me smiling.
A rude awakening huh?
I nod to myself rolling my eyes then head back across the street. The house seems so empty without mom. Going back into my room I go through my camera roll, filled with him.
