these are the feelings you get when you think it might be love, you've liked them but this is how you get those beginning feelings for love 

Shikamaru:

you knew you had feelings after you got through the second part of the Chunin exams, they had released you all to recover and prepare for the battles next week, he ran up to you, ignoring the looks from everyone and immediately asked to see any injuries and asked if you were hungry. you felt protected with him and knew he cared for you. you were a little shocked at how open he was being right then but you loved that he cared about you 

Choji: 

girl you've had a crush on him since day one 

Garra:

you knew you liked him when he left you a cup of tea on your desk early one morning, knowing that someone was looking out for you made you feel safe, you take a sip as you take a crouissant that you had purchased for him out of the bag and put it on a plate to bring to his office.

Kankuro:

you were on a traveling to Konoha with Kankuro to assist in the step 3 planning of the Chunin exams 

during one of your short breaks a shuriken broke out and landed above your head, Kankuro immediately jumped in front of you, kunai in hand and prepping his puppets, even though danger was near, you felt comforted and safe in the presence on Kankuro but you drew your shuriken and kunai and pressed your back against his signaling that he has your protection as well

Neji:

you and Neji were sitting in a large field under the shade of a tree, you were snuggled into his chest as his arm was wrapped around your body, his other arm was holding the book you were reading, you pause from the book, drawing your eyes up to his face, you were so at peace with him, you felt safe, protected and cared for, you never wanted to leave him.

Lee:

you were sitting hand in hand on top of the cliffs, looking down on Konoha, you looked up at Lee, his eyes shimmering from the sun light, his hair swishing in the light breeze, his hand squeezing yours, you definently felt something but wasn't sure what

Shino:

you were saying goodnight to him after a day a hanging out, you wrapped him in a hug and his strong arms wrapped around your shoulders, you felt so safe and cared for and you didn't want to leave his embrace 

Kiba:

with his arm over your shoulder as he guided you through the busy streets back to your home, you lean your head against his shoulder and felt his lips press against the top of your head, after he left you with a goodnight in your room , you realize how cold your hand was, and you laid down contemplating your feelings all night
