Jasper explained to me more in detail how this half animal thing worked.  Basically, I'm the only one who can control this all powerful stone called the Hearth Stone, but if someone wants control of it, they had to kill me.  Jay wanted control the stone, so he could kill the humans and expand habitat.  I was the heir to the throne in this place where people have ice powers.  Every half animal had one main animal and one main power, but many may not repeat.  I apparently have the rare power of fire, which only one other person has, guess who?  Jay.  My main animal is a wolf, also the rarest animal, and only two other people have this power, Jay and Jasper.  I have the same powers as Jay, creepy, but I'm good, he's bad.  Unions are different groups of people with special skills.  Union 4 wants to experiment on me to try a new power or something.  I don't know, I'm still really confused.

I was still trying to take all this information in, that I can not see my family, and I couldn't go out of the forest because I'm unstable.  Jasper was explaining still to May and Kate.  I was sitting out on a patch of dirt.  I have never felt so alone and vulnerable in my entire life.

About an hour later, Jasper came up to me and said, "Okay, ready to start training?"  I was confused.  What training?  "Yes, you have to train.  You have to learn how to control and use your powers," he said seeing my confused facial expression.   Wait a minute.... this was all one big prank.  This couldn't be real.  "I don't believe you.  If this story is all real, change into a wolf, prove it," I said angrily getting up and crossing my arms around my chest.  Jasper sighed, stepped back, and the most horrifying and amazing thing happened.  He closed his eyes, and all of a sudden, I saw a wolf in front of me.

Okay, this isn't real.  I wanted to think that, but my brain wouldn't let me.  I was literally just proven wrong.  The wolf was a darker gray.  He was very handsome.  The wolf walked up to me and rubbed against my leg, and I reached own to pet him.  This was remarkable.  He took a step back to where he was efore, and all of a sudden, there was Jasper, right infront of me.  I was extremely impressed.  "Believe me now?" he said.  I nodded.

He looked around to make sure no one was watching, no one was, he grabbed my hand, pulled me close to him, and the most ahocking thing happened.  He kissed me.  I was short though, because after a moment, he pulled away.  He smiled.  He took my hand and walked me to a door.

"Things will get crazy, people will want to meet you, just follow me and you'll be fine.  We'r going to go to the training arena.  You'll learn how to shoot a bow, change into a wolf, and learn to use you'r powers, okay?"  he asked.  He didn't give me a chance to answer.  I wanted to ask him so many things.  Like what training or something like that.  "Wait, where are May and Kate?" I asked.  He didn't turn around.  "Hey!" I yelled at him.  What happened?  It was like he shut down.

Then Jasper grabbed my hand, opened the door and pushed me in.  It happened all so quickly I didn't know how to react.  "Jasper?" I asked shocked and confused.

"Wrong person," said Jasper as he pulled at the bottom of his ear, just to reveal a cloaking device, and the real person I saw in front of me was Jay.
