- after one week of training and talking to Lav over the phone -
"I can't believe how easy that was!" I said in disbelief as I ran to Mirakami's.
Me and Lav planned to sneak out and meet at Mirakami's at midnight, and I thought it would be hard! They were all snorin up a storm! I even got a slice of pizza!
I put up the hood in my red hoodie and put on my sunglasses. I gotta try not to be recognized.
I jumped down and walked into Mirakami's after getting a pizza gyoza token.
"Hi Mr. Mirakami!" I smiled taking my seat next to a girl in a purple hoodie.
"Ah, hello Sc-"
"Wait!" O interrupted the blind chef, "Sorry, but too many people know my name around here, just call me Blue."
"This wouldn't happen to be associated with you disappearing for a few months does it?" He smiled, taking my token.
"Maybe. Hi Lav!"
She took off her sunglasses, "How'd you know?"
I looked at her sweater that says, 'Lavender RULES!', "Lucky guess."
She looked down and facepalmed, "Oh yeah, duh."
I take off my sunglasses too, "So, have you started to call Don yet?"
She looks down, "Not really, I just don't know... I jut wanna know what he looks like first."
I sigh, I guess I should tell her, "Lav, there's something I gotta show you...."
I let down my hood to reveal my ears, and.... she squealed?
"Wait, ya not freaked out?" I look at her, puzzled.
"Dude!" She whispers to me, "I have WINGS!!"
"No way!! C'mon!" I grab my pizza gyoza to-go and dragged her out side.
She took of her sweater and wrapped it around her waist, "Ready for liftoff?"
"You know it!" I raise up my hands.
She jumps up, grabs my hands, and we start soarin!
It's like every bad thing the world just disappeared at that moment. I felt free, I felt... ALIVE!!!!
Lav did an aerial flip but I slipped through her fingers. I was falling, from one hundred feet in the air....
And I didn't even know it.
